Profiles comprise a range of extruded aluminium sections which are generally rebated to provide an attractive, skid resistant surface, flush with the floor finish. Can be utilised for floor expansion joints ranging in width up to 150mm. Most have been specifically designed to withstand the vigorous forms of dynamic loading normally associated with fork-lift trucks and pallet truck vehicles. Compriband Interspan Consists of an integral self-adjusting sandwich of flexible high grade synthetic rubber or PVC between a range of extruded aluminium and/ or brass/stainless steel sections. Interspan profiles can be utilised for expansion joints ranging in width up to 200mm and have been specifically designed to accommodate both internal and external floor, wall and ceiling applications. Typical uses For joints in sheet, or tile-covered floors, screeds, stone slabs and asphalting - shopping centres, airports, factories and exhibition halls. Includes profiles for joints in floors which need to be resistant against aggressive media in environments such as dairies and laboratories Typical Uses Shopping centres, supermarkets, hospitals, schools, airports, office buildings, factories, warehouses, railway stations and exhibition halls Product Benefits Various height profiles available to suit individual site conditions Special interlocking design allows movement in three directions Maintenance free and long lasting Pre-fabricated intersections available. Mechanical Movement Joints

• Profiles for use under plaster walls/ceilings and also for surface fixing on walls/ceilings

Product Benefits• Inserts replaceable at any time• Inserts are abrasion, weather and

temperature resistant ( - 30 deg.C to + 120 deg.C); also resistant to oils acids and bitumen

• Various height profiles available to suit individual site conditions

Compriband Interspan All-Metal

Provides a permanent and highly effective solution for heavy duty applications where large structural movement may occur.

Compriband Interspan

Consists of an integral self-adjusting sandwich of flexible high grade synthetic rubber or PVC between a range of extruded aluminium and/or brass/stainless steel sections. Interspan profiles can be utilised for expansion joints ranging in width up to 200mm and have been specifically designed to accommodate both internal and external floor, wall and ceiling applications.

Typical uses• For joints in sheet, or tile-covered

floors, screeds, stone slabs and asphalting - shopping centres, airports, factories and exhibition halls. Includes profiles for joints in floors which need to be resistant against aggressive media in environments such as dairies and laboratories

Typical Uses• Shopping centres, supermarkets,

hospitals, schools, airports, office buildings, factories, warehouses, railway stations and exhibition halls

Product Benefits• Various height profiles available to

suit individual site conditions• Special interlocking design allows

movement in three directions• Maintenance free and long lasting

• Pre-fabricated intersections available.

• Floor to wall corner versions available

• Proven use with specifications by leading Architects all over Europe for the past 40 years

• Visible surface shows no gaps to reduce dirt accumulation

• Pre-fabricated intersections available

• Floor to wall corner versions available

Mechanical Movement Joints

Typical Uses• Aggressive chemical environments• Agricultural environments• Food procesing areas• Pharmaceutical plants & laboratories• Hospitals where smooth patient

transit is critical• Industrial floors with aggressive

environments and ‘super flat’ floors

Product Benefits• Transitions free from vibration• Solid steel profiles - hard wearing

and long lasting• Extremely high load capacity• Weathertight options available

Compriband Interspan Industrial

Interspan Industrial joint systems include profiles that have been developed for installation into areas that require good resistance to chemical environments. Additionally, there are stainless steel joints that allow for completely ‘bump-free’ transit - important in areas where fragile loads are being carried.

Compriband Superspan

Completely watertight system designed to accommodate multi-directional movement and withstand loading in the form of slow moving vehicles with pneumatic tyres. The system’s unique interlocking design comprises aluminium side plates and pre-drilled mounting flanges, with a flexible central insert and lateral sealing sheets. Aspecial stainless steel capping section with integral skid resistance protects these components and this is torqued down to achieve watertightness.

Typical Uses• Superspan is ideal for use in

pedestrian traffic areas, car parks, multi-storey car parks, garages and other areas where wheel loads from slow moving vehicles may be experienced

• Also suitable for roof decks, pedestrian bridges and ramps

• For sealing expansion joints against non-pressing water

Product Benefits• Various height profiles available to

suit individual site conditions• Pre-fabricated intersections

available

• Floor to wall corner versions available

• Robust design can accommodate high loading

• Highly resistant to salt, bitumen and waste water

• Proven use with specifications by leading Architects all over Europe for the past 30 years
