REVELATION CH 5Much of Ch 5 if covered in the Ch 4 notes. However, review the workbooks and pay particular attention to the“song of Moses” and “the song of the a!b” "lso notes that every single reference to #$ singing and how they

co!e fro! and or %uote fro! the book of &sal!s and out of the law and prophets. $his is i!portant and

significant because al!ost all #$ doctrine co!es out of or can be found and sourced fro! the book of &sal!s.$he book of &sal!s is not a book of poetry nor a book about how to keep the law of Moses it is prophecy about

the !essiah and what the church would do. 'n fact the doctrine of not keeping the law of Moses co!es out of

the book of &sal!s( 't is where the "postles %uote fro! when !aking that argu!ent. &aul co!!ended the)erean*s for   Acts 17:11. These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word withall readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so . "nd again  1 Cor 4:6

And these things, brethren, I have in a figure transferred to myself and to Apollos for your sakes; that ye might

learn in us not to think of men above that which is written , that no one of you be puffed up for one againstanother. 't is truly ironic that !any folks see! to think they are to get their “psal!s” fro! the )aptist bible

book store or so!e other book store ignore what the book of &sal!s that +esus, &eter, &aul all %uote fro! in the

co!!ands to sing psal!s and then clai! to speak where the bible speak and be silent where it is silent. Christcited psal!s for doctrine, so too did &eter and &aul and they tell us not to think beyond the! and yet folks really

believe the are contending for the faith when they do not apply the very words %uoted by the Christ and his

"postles on how to sing , and on what to sing. 'f they had done that they would not be out preaching da!nable

heresies they do and conde!ning the!selves to hell in their conde!nation of others for things they willfullyignorantly know nothing about. ather then keeping the words of Christ they drea! up doctrines that don*t e-ist

e-cept in their vain, foolish, ignorant and disobedient hearts.

REVELATION 5:1.   "nd ' saw IN THE RIGHT HAND OF HIM THAT SAT ON THE THRONE A BOOK WRITTEN WITHINAND ON THE BACKSIDE, SEALED WITH SEVEN SEALS. $he seven seal will be addressed in !ore and !ore detail as we !ove throught this annylisis

particularly in Ch / going forward0 1. "nd ' saw a strong angel proclai!ing with a loud voice, 2ho is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof3 . "nd

no !an in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon. 4. "nd ' wept !uch, because no !an was found worthy toopen and to read the book, neither to look thereon. 5. "nd one of the elders saith unto !e, 2eep not behold, the ion of the tribe of +uda, the oot of 6avid, hath

prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof. /. "nd ' beheld, and, lo, in the mi!t "# the th$"ne AND OF THE FO%R

$he Aong of Moses warned of a seven fold curse the first four were !entioned by na!e a!ine, &estilence

death0, Aword, )east. $hese are also associated with the first four seals in revelation otherwise know as “thefour horse!en of the apocalypse.” $he last three were pro!ised to co!e but were not na!ed. Bverall focus of

evelation covers these seven curses three different ti!es via seven seals, seven $ru!ps and seven vials of

wrath. $he other key point to keep in re!e!brance is that everything has two sides to it. $hat is to say

so!ething is destroyed so!ething is redee!ed at the sa!e ti!e. 2here in one event there is sha!e for so!e itis glory for others. 6arkness for so!e is also light for others. $he !orning for so!e is Joy for others, those that

!ourn for their sins will have Joy, but the others are !ourning because of the results of their sins of the fact theygot caught in their sins. "ll these things are two sides to the sa!e coin.

$he whole doctrine of #$ singing in ine-orably intertwined into the doctrine of Christ co!ing, the rede!ption

and destruction that is found in all of these scriptures. 'f you want to know how to bake a cake you would be

“wise” to consult a “how to” guide. ikewise if you want to know and “understand” sound doctrine on singingincluding how to sing and what to sing, you !ust consult the very scriptures they %uote fro! and tell you not to

think beyond( $o clai! instru!ents in worship are not found in the #$ doctrine of singing is like using words

while ignoring the definition of those words. $hese very verses and their prophetic conte-t of what to sing andhow to sing in the church is defining te-ts for “Heb 885.. “let us offer the sacrifice of praise to @od

continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his na!e”0 His na!e is not +esus nor is it @od His na!e

is his word and his word is what tells us what and how to sing and defines all conte-t for sound doctrine in allthings.

$hese wicked !en don*t understand are not wise and do not sing psal!s with understanding they sing heresy

with glee and conte!pt for the truth and then conde!n others for actually doing what it said.3(3( “7verything is

over” that phrase would need so!e conte-t if so!eone ca!e to you and !ade it. $hat is relatively easy to

understand and yet !any find it difficult to understand that “the law” that was done away with and nailed to thecross had a very specific !eaning that did not refer to the B$ as use for defining , understanding and validating

all doctrine. Bnly the ordinances for purification, sanctification, were done away with because Christ had

already obtained ALL the everlasting blessings pro!ised under the law. Bnly Christ kept it perfectly, and assuch inherited everything and now in a position to give it to his followers. $he law rituals0 and ordinances

beca!e !oot when the pro!ised seed ca!e and inherited all things according to pro!ises of the law. 2hat

would be the point of continuing the rituals if the pro!ises an inheritance were already given away to so!eoneelse na!ely Christ3 $his has nothing to do with doing away with the prophecies about what the !essiah and

Church would do which is what &sal!s is about. Having said this we !ust also consider the fact that the

instructions are inclusive not an e-clusive list. 'n the sa!e way that !en !ight point to his children and say “ok

guys, ' want you all to go out and clean the yard. ' want you get a rake, so!e trash bags, so!e gloves, the weedeater, the lawn!ower and clean up the yard. Bnly a fool would try to interpret that as a co!!and for each son

to wear gloves with trash bags in his hand along with a rake, a weed eater, sitting on a lawn!ower all at the

sa!e ti!e or even all individually( $he list is inclusive to what the sons will use and do it is not an e-clusive

de!and for everyone to do or use everything and certainly not all at the sa!e ti!e. ike all scriptures thataddress doctrine and prophecy they !ust be taken in concert with each other not in spite of each other. More

often then not scriptures use inclusive not e-clusive co!!ands and descriptions. $he law of Moses was ane-clusive do not add to or take fro! law. $he whole point of that law was to show '$ 6B7A#$ 2BI(

However, it foretold of a new covenant and new law that would be !ore inclusive in its “legal” structure. "ll

#$ doctrine is co!es fro! and is defined by the B$ scriptures. +7Tim :0*; Acts *; /or 0&-7very #$ passage of scripture on singing co!es out of and or directly %uotes fro! the book na!ed psal!s such that one

could only wonder what &sal!s we are to sing with the understanding. 'f you want to know what is

“authoriDed” perhaps you should pay attention to the scriptures they %uote fro! when they issue doctrine on

such things as singing and then even told you not to think beyond that(3 'f so!eone put you in a kitchen andtold you to bake a “fa!ous chocolate cake” and then you proceed to look at the directions for how to bake a

“fa!ous chocolate cake”, what kind of fool would you think of people who walled in the roo! and told you to“Atop, he only said bake a Qfa!ous chocolate cake* he did not say anything about flour or sugar and certainlynothing about using a !i-er”(3( $his foolishness is like reading a word in a book and then ignoring the

“authoriDed” definition of the word in the dictionary you were given and told not to think beyond(
