Our company developed more into the expertise of heavy civil market, and our name was changed to Civil Constructors.
Our company was formed under the name Freeport Blacktop Construction Company and originally paved city and county roads with seal coat.
As an extension of Mechanical Inc., our Service Division is dedicated to complete customer satisfaction. We have a team of expert service technicians throughout Illinois, Southern Wisconsin, Iowa, Eastern Nebraska and Northern Indiana that oversee the maintenance of our customers’ facilities.
With services ranging from 24-hour, 7 days a week response and facility monitoring, preventative maintenance programs, to all aspects of HVAC, chillers, boilers and plumbing repairs. Along with energy monitoring evaluation and management, we also provide plumbing services and new installations.

No matter what its condition there are factors that will cause your equipment to fail or not work at top effi ciency. With our Preventative Maintenance Program in place we are taking the guesswork out of maintenance. We take the time to evaluate your current situation, design a plan that works for you, and save you money by extending the life of your equipment.
Mechanical’s Service Division offers two types of preventative maintenance programs.
Basic coverage: this option provides all scheduled factory level pre-ventative maintenance required. Any repairs or replacements found would be quoted in advance for the customer’s review and approval.
• This option is helping maintain the ASHRAE useful life cycle of the equipment and being proactive to limit repairs. • Program includes a tasking booklet left for onsite personnel to review and refer to at any time. • Program allows for service tickets of the maintenance inspection to be emailed to the customer before technician leaves the site. • Program includes documented maintenance and repair items to help customers budget for future replacements.
Comprehensive coverage: this option provides scheduled preven-tative maintenance visits that cover factory level maintenance. This option includes replacement/repair items found during these inspections and service calls throughout the year (exclusions such as non-maintainable parts or acts of God, fi re etc.)
• This program is great for customers who have strict budgets. It helps to know the upfront cost they are going to spend on HVAC at the beginning of the year, and all items under this umbrella would be covered.
These programs help reduce the risk of premature failure, unscheduled downtime, and costly emergency repairs.

Whether we’re looking at a main boiler or chiller plant, blower and fan coil units, air cooled chillers, pumps or digital controls, our goal is to fi nd the best and most cost-effi cient way of making your facility work at top performance.
OUR PARTNERSHIP APPROACH
Mechanical’s Service Division also has an elite group that provides engineering, installation and support of building automation. This includes HVAC systems, remote access and/or monitoring, camera and card access systems, and energy usage monitoring.
We can integrate legacy control systems into one user platform, and also perform control work in new facilities. Mechanical’s Service Division will take the most diverse and complicated systems and tie them into one easy-to-manage automated solution.
