lets begin are journey

look back at why we

love Metallica so

much why they are

such an iconic band.

Metallica are from LA

and formed in 1981.

the band started as

the lead singer James

Hatfield saw an add in

the local paper for

the drummer Lars

Ulrich . from there

the band expanded

there rain on the

world stage and

produced 9 albums

and 4 live albums.

Johnny z from mega

force records gave

this new group

opportunity to record

there first album kill

em all which was

originally goanna be

called metal up your

***. but due to

conflicts they where

not allowed to

release the album

under that name

hence the birth of kill

em all. after the band

succes they went to do

there 1st tour named

after there 1st album

Page 17: Meatl Mash Issue 8

from there 1st album

they went on to make

some amazing albums

such as ride the

lighting , master of

puppets and of course

the black album. last

year they rock the

stage at donington

and headlined

download festival

and performed the

black album and just

about every single

epic tune they ever did.

question is will we see

another Metallica

album soon.

saddly to say that

there is no news on

any new albums on

there way from

Metallica but there is

possibly a 3d movie

coming out about

Metallica called

through the never .

when the movie is set

to be released i don't

know but there is

shots of it being

filmed so be sure to

check that out on

YouTube

Page 18: Meatl Mash Issue 8

In the interview they

stated that they

wanted to say thank

you to guns 2 roses

for giving them the

opportunity that

ended up kick

starting there band.

from there

Metallica reloaded

was born.

Are band to watch

this week is a

Metallica tribute

band called

Metallica reloaded

from Bristol . These

are really the real

deal every song

every note is

practised and tuned

down to the fine

detail to produce

that classic

Metallica show.

There are described

to be if not just as

good as seeing the

real deal live.

Originally the band

started of doing

there own music

sealing ep and doing

there own thing then

the band slit and

David the guitarist

started the band

blood off ash.

all the other

members also went

and did there own

projects. In 2010 the

band got back

together and became

a tribute act under

the name fixer. they

did lots of covers

from iron maiden ,

Alice in chains , guns

roses and of course

Metallica. The band

grew a very metallic

sound and from there

became a Metallica

tribute act working

on the early

Metallica tunes.

they then was asked

to do a show with

guns 2 roses the guns

roses tribute act. The

tribute act like fixer

so much they gave

them here 1st tour

from there the band

became a huge

success.

Page 19: Meatl Mash Issue 8

these guys are the real deal

and of behalf of metal mash

magazine I wish them all the

success with there band .

if you want to see Metallica

play live then check these

guys out. touring this year.

One of there latest

successes was the

Bristol 02 gig last

year. in which they

had a sale out show.

This year they are on

tour agene and will

be returning to

Bristol on 6th of

April in which u can

read about there

show in the gig

review .

Another one of there

achievements is an

endorsement from

big company ESP

guitars a rank that is

not so easily

achieved.

This is band proves

that practise makes

perfect and to keep

dreaming.

non stop Metallica for two hours and feature songs from all

the Metallica albums. The show was electric and had the crowd

moshing there metal heads of. This is not a tribute band this is a

clone of Metallica they are that good. right down to every fine

detail all the guitar solos was spot on. They look the part they

sound the part and they blew the roof of the fleece. last time i

seen a Metallica band that good was download festival main

stage last year. if i closed my eyes i could imagine being back at
