    The Noble Qurans Disconnected Letters: Meaningless or

    Miracle Beyond Belief?

    Hasthe Qurans numeric miracle finally revealed the secretsor at least part of the secrets

    behind the mysterious disconnected letters that have baffled scholars for centuries?

    What follows is a closer look at two of these unique letter combinations...

    Out of the Qurans 114 chapters, 29 begin with disconnected letters, letters which seem to

    have no meaning, yet have continued to puzzle, mystify and amaze both Muslims and non-

    Muslims alike for the past 1400 years. For the purpose of this paper, these letters will be

    called special letters, and the phrases which they create special phrases.

    Altogether, there are 14 different special phrases in the Quran, with the same special

    phrase often repeated at the beginning of more than one chapter. They are listed below:

    It has recently been discovered that these special phrases carry some form of numerical

    significance. One of the important numbers that appear to be connected to these letters is

    the number 7, whose wonders across the entire Quran are evident. As for these special

    phrases, one point to note is that there are 14 in total, and the number 14 is a multiple of 7

    (14 = 2 x 7). But moreover, the different letters making up these phrases is also 14, which isprecisely half the number of letters in the Arabic alphabet:

    To illustrate how one of these special phrases is connected to the number 7, we will give the

    example of the very first phrase to appear in the Quran, the three-letteredAlif Lm Mm

    () . In order to do this, we must first list the 29 chapters which contain a special phrase in

    their order of appearance in the Quran.

    1- Surat1 Al-Baqarah (Chapter 1: The Cow) begins with the three letters ) ) .2- Surat Al-Imran )Chapter 2: The Family of Imran) begins with ) ) .3- Surat Al-Araf )Chapter 7: The Heights( begins with the four letters () .4- Surat Yunus (Chapter 10: Jonah) begins with () .5- Surat Hud (Chapter 11: Hud) begins with () .6- Surat Yusuf (Chapter 12: Joseph) begins with () .

    1Surahmeans chapter, and when we say Chapter: The Cow, for instance, the word Surah becomes Surat.

    the first verse and the three letters () in the second.24-Surat Al-Zukhruf (Chapter 43: Ornaments of Gold) begins with () .25-Surat Al-Dukhan (Chapter 44: Smoke) begins with () .26-Surat Al-Jathiya (Chapter 45: Crouching) begins with () .27-Surat Al-Ahqaf (Chapter 46: The Dunes) begins with () .28-Surat Qaaf (Chapter 50: The Letter Qaaf) begins with (

    ) .

    29-Surat Al-Qalam (Chapter 68: The Pen) begins with () .The Qurans beautiful arrangement ofAlif Lm Mm

    Alif Lm Mm () is found in 6 of the above 29 chapters. These are Al-Baqarah, Al-Imran,

    Al-Ankabut, Al-Ruum, Luqmaan and Al-Sajdah.

    Firstly, the precise order of these six chapters out of the 29 special-phrase chapters creates

    a multiple of 7. Their order is as follows:

    1. Surat Al-Baqarah

  • 8/8/2019 Meaningless or Miracle Beyond Belief? Secrets Behind an Enduring Qur'anic Mystery

    3/34

    3 | P a g e

    2. Surat Al-Imran15.Surat Al-Ankabut16.Surat Al-Ruum17.Surat Luqmaan18.Surat Al-Sajdah

    Arranging these six numbers into a single number (in Arabic reading order, from right to left,

    because Arabic is the language of the Quran( gives us the following:

    Al-Sajdah Luqmaan Al-Ruum Al-Ankabut Al-Imran Al-Baqarah

    18 17 16 15 2 1

    1817161521 = 259594503 x 7

    The final result or quotient, namely 259594503, is also a multiple of 7:

    259594503 = 37084929 x 7

    The resulting quotient is also a multiple of 7:

    37084929 = 5297847 x 7

    Not only that, but the digit sum of the final quotient leads to yet another multiple of 7:

    5 + 2 + 9 + 7 + 8 + 4 + 7 = 42

    42 = 6 x 7

    Beautifully, the final result is the number 6, which is the total number ofAlif Lm Mm

    openings in the Quran!

    The verse numbers ofAlif Lm Mm

    Alif Lm Mm is the opening verse of 6 chapters, as already stated. This means that it is

    verse 1 of each of these chapters. As trivial as it may seem, arranging these six verse

    numbers achieves yet another multiple of 7:

    111111 = 15873 x 7

    Interestingly, hadAlif Lm Mm been the opening verse of 5 or 7 chapters instead of 6, the

    above arrangement would not have produced a multiple of 7.

    The total number of verses in eachAlif Lm Mm chapter

    The total number of verses in each chapter beginning withAlif Lm Mm starting from the

    first to the lastAlif Lm Mm chapter is shown below:

    Surat Al-Baqarah consists of286 verses. Surat Al-Imran consists of200 verses. Surat Al-Ankabut consists of69 verses. Surat Al-Ruum consists of60 verses. Surat Luqmaan consists of34 verses. Surat Al-Sajdah consists of30 verses.

    Arranging these verse counts produces the following:

    Al-Sajdah Luqmaan Al-Ruum Al-Ankabut Al-Imran Al-Baqarah

    30 34 60 69 200 286

    The number representing the verse count of each chapter beginning withAlif Lm Mm, in

    the order of appearance in the Quran, is 30346069200286. This number has four notable

    features:

    1. It is 14 digits long, or 2 x 7.2. It is a multiple of 7:

    30346069200286 = 4335152742898 x 7

    3. The total number of verses is a multiple of 7:30 + 34 + 60 + 69 + 200 + 286 = 679

    679 = 97 x 7

    4. Its digit sum is a multiple of 7, and not just any multiple of 7:3 + 3 + 4 + 6 + 6 + 9 + 2 + 2 + 8 + 6 = 49

    49 = 7 x 7

    In other words, this number is a multiple of 7, its digit count is a multiple of 7, its digit sum is

    precisely 7 x 7, and the verses being considered total a multiple of 7!

    The Numeric System behindAlif Lm Mm

    We now explore the first chapter in which the special phraseAlif Lm Mm is found, before

    we study the very last chapter in which it is cited.

    The first chapter starting withAlif Lm Mm

    The first verse of Al-Baqarah, which isAlif Lm Mm, is followed by a verse which states:

    This is the Book; in it is guidance sure, without doubt, to those who fear God;

    Al-Baqarah, 2:2

    Amazingly, we will soon find out that God Almighty has organised the three lettersAlif Lm

    Mm across this verse in a manner that is perfectly coherent with the number 7.

    Once again, the three letters we are considering are:

    We will now write the second verse of Al-Baqarah below, and search for the above three

    letters in each of its words. And under each word, we write the total number ofAlif(), Lm() and Mm ( ) letters it contains:

    ()()()()

    0 2 2 1

    () ()( )

    3 0 0

    The number representing the amount ofAlif Lm Mm letters in each word of the above

    verse is 3000221, a multiple of 7:

    3000221 = 428603 x 7

    Amazingly, the above quotient is also a multiple of 7.

    428603 = 61229 x 7

    Even more amazingly, the resulting quotient is still a multiple of 7!

    6/34

    6 | P a g e

    61229 = 8747 x 7

    In other words, our original number 3000221 is a multiple of 7 three times!

    3000221 = 8747 x 7 x 7 x 7

    This result can only be a definite confirmation that God Almighty alone could have designed

    this verse and perfected every one of its letters. And to appreciate the accuracy of its

    words, we will consider one of its more minute details.

    The word () which means The Book, is written in a different manner in standardArabic than it is found in the Quran. We can observe the difference here:

    Quranic Arabic Standard Arabic

    The extraAlif() found in the standard version of the word would have destroyed all theabove arrangements, because it would have produced the number 3000231, which is not a

    multiple of 7!

    The arrangement of words

    Part of the greatness of the Qurans numeric miracle is its creativity, and the differentmethods by which numbers can be counted and arranged. One of the basic rules when

    studying numbers in the Quran is the following one-zero rule:

    Words containing anyAlif(), Lm () and Mm ( ) letters are assigned the number 1. Words containing no such letters are assigned the number 0.

    We now rewrite the verse with this simple rule in mind:

    ()()()()0 1 1 1

    () ()( )

    1 0 0

    1000111 = 142873 x 7

    7/34

    7 | P a g e

    The arrangement of words and letters

    From the above arrangements, we can deduce that the total number ofAlif Lm Mm letters

    in the verse is 8, and the total number ofAlif Lm Mm words is 4. Let us see the

    arrangement below:

    Alif Lm Mm letters Alif Lm Mm words

    8 4

    84 = 12 x 7

    The last chapter starting withAlif Lm Mm

    The final Quranic chapter that begins with the special phraseAlif Lm Mm as its first verse

    is Surat Al-Sajdah. As we did with Surat Al-Baqarah, we now consider the verse that directly

    follows these special letters:

    (This is) the Revelation of the Book in which there is no doubt,- from the Lord of the Worlds.

    Al-Sajdah, 32:2

    Again, we will look for the number ofAlif(), Lm () and Mm ( ) letters in each one of thewords in this verse:

    ()()()()

    0 2 2 1

    ()( )()( ) 4 0 1 0

    The number 40100221 is a multiple of 7 even when completely reversed!

    40100221 = 5728603 x 7

    12200104 = 1742872 x 7

    The arrangement of words

    Using the one-zero rule, we assign the number 0 to any words containing noAlif Lm Mm

    letters, and the number 1 to words containing any of these letters:

    ()()()()

    0 1 1 1

    ()( )()( )

    1 0 1 0

    10100111 = 1442873 x 7

    The arrangement of words and letters

    The number of words containing anyAlif Lm Mm letters is 5, and the number ofAlif Lm

    Mm letters in the verse is 10:

    Alif Lm Mm letters Alif Lm Mm words

    10 5

    105 = 15 x 7

    Having established some of the approaches to dealing with the special phrases numerically,

    two particular special phrases will now be explored, in an attempt to show that the

    inimitability of the number 7 is not limited to a few chapters, but stretches across the entire

    Quran, and that its miraculous nature is no coincidence.

    Mm, Ayn Sn Qf: The only two special phrases found in a single chapter; a profound

    example of the magnificence of the number 7 in the Quran

    Of all 29 chapters containing a special phrase, there exists one particular chapter which

    contains two. The rest contain only one. This, if anything, is a curious fact.

    In any case, the critical question is this: does the number 7 have something to say about

    these two peculiar phrases? These form the opening two verses ofSurat Al-Shurah

    (Chapter: The Council):

    Mm )1( Ayn Sn Qf )2(

    Al-Shurah, 42:1-2

    Since two phrases are being dealt with in a single chapter rather than one, potentially many

    more multiples of 7 may be found. An interesting point to make is thatAl-Shurah is the 42nd

    of the Quran, and 42, of course, is a multiple of 7 )42 = 6 x 7(. In this, perhaps, is a hidden

    suggestion as to the significance of the number 7 in this chapter.

    Brief introduction to both phrases

    The first special phrase, Mm () , is actually the opening phrase of 7 chapters in the

    Quran,Al-Shurah being one of them. It consists of two letters, namely () and Mm () .

    The second special phrase Ayn Sn Qf () , is only mentioned inAl-Shurah. However, its

    three letters Ayn () , Sn () and Qf () are found in other special phrases across the

    Quran. Having said this, an interesting fact appears with respect to the letter Qf () ,

    which, crucially, is the first letter in the word Quran () . The only other time the letter

    Qf () is found in a special phrase is in fact in SuratQf(Chapter: The Letter Qf). As the

    name suggests, the opening phrase in this chapter is the single letter Qf. Interestingly, in

    both chapters (Al-Shurah and Qf), the letter Qfis repeated precisely 57 times, despiteAl-

    Shurah being a slightly longer chapter than Qf. Adding these occurrences of the letter Qf

    gives the number 114, which is the total number of chapters in the Quran! This, of course,

    is only a minor yet profound observation, and the focus of this work will now shift to a much

    more detailed investigation of the five opening letters inAl-Shurah.

    The first verse following Mm, Ayn Sn Qf

    The verse following Mm, Ayn Sn QfinAl-Shurah is the third verse of this chapter,

    namely:

    Thus doth (He) send inspiration to thee as (He did) to those before thee,- God, Exalted in

    Power, Full of Wisdom.

    Al-Shurah, 42:3

    The letters Mm, Ayn Sn Qfwill now be looked for in each word of this verse. In

    Arabic, of course, these five letters are:

    ()()()()0 0 1 0

    ()()()()

    1 1 0 0

    ()() ()

    2 1 0

    The resulting number, 21011000010, is a multiple of 7 when read from either direction:

    21011000010 = 3001571430 x 7

    1000011012 = 142858716 x 7

    Interestingly, the letter () of the special phrase Mm, despite being repeated only

    twice in this verse, is remarkably distributed in a manner that produces a multiple of 7.

    Looking solely for this letter across the words of this verse creates the following

    arrangement:

    ()()()()

    0 0 1 0

    ()()()()

    0 0 0 0

    Mm in verse 5: the verse of glorification

    The 5th

    verse ofAl-Shurah is a description of the sheer greatness of God Almighty, and the

    extent to which He deserves praise and glory. At the same, it is a reassurance that He alone

    is Most Forgiving and Most Merciful:

    The heavens are almost rent asunder from above them (by His Glory): and the angels

    celebrate the Praises of their Lord, and pray for forgiveness for (all) beings on earth: Behold!

    Verily God is He, the Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

    Al-Shurah, 42:5

    As profound as this verse is, what is also astounding is its remarkable numeric relationship

    with the first special phrase ofAl-Shurah and the most repeated special phrase in the

    Quran, Mm. In Arabic, these two letters are:

    Searching for these two special letters in each word of verse 5 produces the arrangement

    perfect harmony with the number 7:

    Who could have created such infallible arrangements in one verse, which fittingly happens

    to depict the heavens almost collapsing by Gods Majesty? Who is it that could have

    designed such a flawless system within a single verse, whereby searching for two letters,

    either separately or collectively, still gives rise to perfect multiples of 7? Could it possibly

    have been the messenger of God, Muhammad (peace be upon him), an unschooled man

    who love more than 14 centuries ago, or God Almighty Himself, the very creator of the

    seven heavens and the earth?

    Mm, Ayn Sn Qfin verse 11

    In the 11th

    verse ofAl-Shurah, God proclaims Himself the creator of the heavens and the

    earth, and emphasises His uniqueness by stating that nothing is like Him in any way:

    (He is) the Creator of the heavens and the earth: He has made for you pairs from among

    yourselves, and pairs among cattle: by this means does He multiply you: there is nothing

    whatever like unto Him, and He is the One that hears and sees (all things).

    Al-Shurah, 42:11

    It was noted from previous verses that one can search either for all the letters of a particular

    special phrase within a verse, or simply for one of those letters. That being said, the letter

    Sn () , which is repeated no more than 4 times in this verse, is remarkably arranged across

    its words:

    Mm, Ayn Sn Qfin verse 17: the verse of balance

    In verse 17 ofAl-Shurah, God Almighty states:

    It is God Who has sent down the Book in Truth, and the Balance (by which to weigh

    conduct). And what will make thee realise that perhaps the Hour is close at hand?

    Al-Shurah, 42:17

    In this verse, God declares that it is none other than He who has revealed the Quran in both

    truth and balance.

    Interestingly, having mentioned balance, could this verse have actually balanced the

    arrangement of both Mm and Ayn Sn Qfwithin its words? In other words, could the

    arrangement of each of these two special phrases on their own using the one-zero

    balancing rule that was applied earlier withAlif Lm Mm produce a multiple of 7 in both

    cases? Lets find out.

    Firstly, searching for the letters Mm only, the following rule will be applied:

    The number 1 is assigned to each word containing any Mmletters (regardlesstheir amount).

    The number 0 is assigned to each word containing no Mmletters.That being said, for further clarification, the letters and Mm in Arabic are:

    The resulting number, 101010000 is a multiple of 7:

    The same logic will now be repeated for Ayn Sn Qf, which, in Arabic are:

    1110000010000 = 158571430000 x 7

    Mm, Ayn Sn Qfin verse 29: a statement of Gods ultimate power

    InAl-Shurahs 29th

    verse, God Almighty beautifully declares that He not only created the

    heavens and the earth, but that He has power over all his creations:

    And among His Signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the living creatures

    that He has scattered through them: and He has power to gather them together when He

    Mm, Ayn Sn Qfin verse 49: God alone determines gender

    Parents who await the birth of their child will often have a particular preference as to

    gender. Some may hope that it turns out a boy, others may wish for a girl. Ultimately,

    however, as they know full well, that is not in their hands, but is solely up to Gods Will:

    To God belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. He creates what He wills (and

    plans). He bestows (children) male or female according to His Will (and Plan),

    Al-Shurah, 42:49

    Interestingly, the above verse is the 49th

    ofAl-Shurah (49 = 7 x 7), and the total number of

    Mm, Ayn Sn Qfletters it contains is 7. But more importantly, how are these letters

    organised across its words? This is demonstrated below, but as a quick reminder, the

    special letters Mm, Ayn Sn Qfin Arabic are:

    ()()()()

    0 2 1 0

    100001001100210 = 14285857300030 x 7

    Amazingly, the same consistency is maintained when investigating each special phrase on its

    own. Beginning with the first phrase, namely Mm, its two letters in Arabic are:

    The same is true when searching for the three letters of the special phrase Ayn Sn Qf,

    Mm, Ayn Sn Qfin Al-Shurahs final two verses: a wonderful arrangement

    The last two verses ofAl-Shurah, verses 52 and 53, are connected in meaning. The 52nd

    verse features God Almighty telling the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) that he is

    no more than a messenger of God, and that God has granted him the light of the Quran and

    guided him to the straight path. The final verse follows on this by confirming that this

    straight path is that of God, to whom everything belongs.

    That being said, it would make sense to look for the arrangement of Mm, Ayn Sn Qfin

    both verses together, which, of course, is going to produce a relatively large number. In any

    case,Al-Shurahs final two verses state the following:

    And thus have We, by Our Command, sent inspiration to thee: thou knewest not (before)

    what was Revelation, and what was Faith; but We have made the (Qur'an) a Light,

    wherewith We guide such of Our servants as We will; and verily thou dost guide (men) to

    the Straight Way,- (52) The Way of God, to Whom belongs whatever is in the heavens andwhatever is on earth. Behold (how) all affairs tend towards God! (53)

    Al-Shurah, 42:52-53

    arrangement shown below:

    1000000102010000 = 142857157430000 x 7

    Interestingly, the above arrangement of Mm, Ayn Sn QfinAl-Shurahs final verse is a

    multiple of 7 even when reversed(just like the verse 3 of the chapter, which comes directly

    after these special phrases!):

    102010000001 = 14572857143 x 7

    In other words, the third verse (which is the first verse to follow the special phrases found in

    verse 1 and 2) and the last verse of this chapter are both multiples of 7 if read from either

    direction!

    Since this chapter seems to be inextricably connected to the number 7, does the 7th

    verse of

    Al-Shurah have anything interesting to add?

    Mm, Ayn Sn Qfin the 7th

    verse ofAl-Shurah

    Verse 7 ofAl-Shurah is as follows:

    Thus have We sent by inspiration to thee an Arabic Qur'an: that thou mayest warn the

    Mother of Cities and all around her,- and warn (them) of the Day of Assembly, of which

    there is no doubt: (when) some will be in the Garden, and some in the Blazing Fire.

    Al-Shurah, 42:7

    In this verse, the letters of the first special phrase, Mm, are repeated 6 times in this

    verse. The letters of the second special phrase, Ayn Sn Qfare repeated 8 times. In total,

    therefore, the letters of the two special phrases Mm, Ayn Sn Qfare found 14 times inthis 7

    thverse ofAl-Shurah, and 14 is a multiple of 7:

    14 = 2 x 7

    This verse is not as simple as that, however. In order to extract precisely how many times

    each of the five letters ( Mm, Ayn Sn Qf) are repeated in this verse, the letters of every

    word will be broken down, and any occurrence of these five letters will be marked in red:

    From the above illustration, one can deduce that the 14 repetitions of Mm, Ayn Sn Qf

    are distributed among these special letters in the following manner:

    () is repeated 2 times. Mm () is repeated 4 times. Ayn () is repeated 3 times. Sn () is repeated 1 time. Qf () is repeated 4 times.

    Combining these repetitions into a single arrangement from right to left (Arabic reading

    order), beginning with , followed by Mm, Ayn,Sn andQf(as this is the order of the

    Quran( gives rise to the following:

    The number 41342 is a multiple of 7:

    the arrangement of these 2 repetitions forms a multiple of 7:

    Words literally containing Mm inAl-Shurah: intriguing insight

    The special phrase Mm, though in itself is not a word, consists of two letters that often

    come together to help create a word. To strike a parallel example in English, the letters th

    do not form a word, but are often written together as part of a word, such as in ethics,

    which, of course, is an actual word.

  • 8/8/2019 Meaningless or Miracle Beyond Belief? Secrets Behind an Enduring Qur'anic Mystery

    29/34

    29 | P a g e

    Similarly, there are words inAl-Shurah which contain the letters Mm () as part of a

    word, such as () The Praiseworthy, () mercy, and so on. Across the entire

    chapter, there are five such words, and these are the following:

    () with the praise, found in verse 5. () His mercy, found in verse 8. () His mercy, found in verse 28. () The Praiseworthy, found also in verse 28. () mercy, found in verse 48.

    Arranging these verse numbers in their Quranic order )including the repeated verse 28(

    produces a magnificent result:

    Verse Verse Verse Verse Verse

    48 28 28 8 5

    Amazingly, the number 48282885 is a multiple of 7, not once, but twice:

    48282885 = 6897555 x 7

    6897555 = 985365 x 7

    In other words:

    48282885 = 985365 x 7 x 7

    The multiples of 7 inherent in this chapter, Surat Al-Shurah, are still not over. Many more

    multiples await, multiples which are in fact (unbelievably!) more profound and remarkable

    in nature than those already witnessed above. It is now time to take a in-depth look at the

    following awe-inspiring arrangements.

    Mm, Ayn Sn Qfacross the entire chapter: a whole new level of miracle

    The profoundness of the numeric arrangements that will now be witnessed are, believe it or

    not, monumentallylarger than those already encountered, and involve far greater detail.

    The following table is the result of a decent amount of counting. It represents the total

    number of every special letter in every one ofAl-Shurahs 53 verses. Despite the sheer

    amount of numbers in this table, readers are assured of their complete accuracy, as they

    have been checked many times. Nevertheless, any reader wishing to double check the work

    done below is welcome and in fact encouraged to do so.

    TOTALS 57 53 98 208 297 51 348

    As the above table illustrates, the totals for Mm are separated from those ofAyn Sn

    Qf, simply because these are two different special phrases found in two different verses.

    To begin with, the total number of Mm letters and Ayn Sn Qfare clearly depicted as

    348 and 208, respectively. Arranging these two numbers represents the first and easiest

    multiple of 7 that can be extracted from the above table:

    Total Ayn,Sn andQfletters Total andMm letters

    208 348

    The resulting number is in fact a multiple of 7 twice:

    208348 = 4252 x 7 x 7

    What if a more ambitious approach was taken, however? What about arranging the total

    number of Mm letters from every verse? The number would look something like this:

  • 8/8/2019 Meaningless or Miracle Beyond Belief? Secrets Behind an Enduring Qur'anic Mystery

    Verse 52 Verse 51 Verse 50 >>>> Verse 1

    This number, despite being no less than 64 digits in length, is a perfect, decimal-free

    multiple of 7!!

    4119451113811845552848611376761628811118173918151449641065104402 =

    What if the same outcome repeated itself with Ayn Sn Qf,Al-Shurahs second special

    phrase? Wouldnt that be quite simply miraculous?

    Once again, arranging the total number of Ayn,Sn andQfletters from every verse into a

    single number produces:

    143529211041534040414211352538796304855988671218243230

    The above 54-digit number is, remarkably, yet another multiple of 7!

    143529211041534040414211352538796304855988671218243230 =

    20504173005933434344887336076970900693712667316891890 x 7

    After all this, could there be anything left? As extraordinary as it may seem, there actually

    are a few left.

    What if an arrangement was constructed representing the number of separate and

    (separate) Mm letters of each verse, instead of finding the sum ofand Mm in every

    verse? To clarify matters, such an arrangement would of course be by far the largest yet,

    and would look like this:

    Verse 52 Verse 51 >>>> Verse 1

    Total Mm Total Total Mm Total >>>> Total Mm Total

    4 0 9 2 >>>> 1 1

    The resulting number which arises from forming such an arrangement is:

    Incredibly, this 113-digit number is a perfect multiple of 7:

    40925440508313080110804041503220803171511001217060704210512053531011105310

    01737595878588915578759748916762888573 x 7

    What if the same logic from the above arrangement was applied to Mm, Ayn Sn Qf;

    that is, to all 5 special letters? The arrangement would be practically enormous to say the

    least, and would look like this:

    Verse 52 >>>> Verse 1

    Ayn Sn Qf Mm >>>> Ayn Sn Qf Mm

    0 1 0 4 0 >>>> 0 0 0 1 1

    The massive number which arises is given below:

    10401129202154203401105024383110130010803341101128000140122410125002232000

    0151101310018241342002411307301240101221110000011

    For once, the resulting arrangement is actually nota multiple of 7. Peculiarly, however, it isa multiple of another prime number, namely 11:

    10401129202154203401105024383110130010803341101128000140122410125002232000

    13736482728931031091128300663749100111010000001 x 11

    To this final result, I must confess to that I have honestly no explanation. God, of course,

    always knows best.

    One fact remains certain, however, namely that the number 7 is by no means the only

    miraculous number in the Noble Quran, simply because many other numbers are found

    within its verses. On many occasions have other numbers - including many prime numbers

    such as 11, 13, and 19 - portrayed various examples of their miraculous presence in the

    Quran, and the above outcome is perhaps one more indication.
