Activ8 Daytime: If you have the freedom to attend the leisure centre during the day, take some time out for yourself with this o� peak membership (8am – 5pm weekdays & weekends). With full use of the � tness suite, swimming pools, sauna & steam suite and a whole host of classes to help stay in shape.

Student Anytime:Being a student isn’t all lectures and pub crawls and keeping � t is a great way to keep up your energy levels whether it’s for exams or socialising! This reduced price membership is available to all students with a valid student ID on a full time programme of study providing full access to the � tness suite, all classes, swimming pools and the sauna & steam suite.

Active Choices:This membership package may o� er a discounted pay-as-you-go option and reduced membership price but the range of services isn’t reduced. O� ering full use of the � tness suite, swimming pools and sauna & steam suites throughout the Active Sefton range of leisure centres all you need is an Active Choices level one card to qualify.

Referral AnytimeThis discounted membership package is available to you if you have completed the GP Referral Scheme with the Active Lifestyles team. O� ering unlimited use of the � tness suite, classes, swimming and sauna & steam suite sessions this is the perfect package to help you maintain your healthy lifestyle goals.

Junior AnytimeNot to forget our younger visitors this discounted membership is the ideal package to help our junior visitors enjoy the facilities too. B.T.S JAMThis cardio dance workout is an addictive fusion of the latest dance moves and hottest new sounds enabling you to have fun whilst having a thorough workout. Improves your cardiovascular range and introduces the burning of calories.

B.T.S ATTACKThis high intensity group exercise is a great workout for all levels. Combining high energy sports training moves with both upper and lower body conditioning exercises, this is a great way to burn calories and work towards a leaner, more toned body.

AB & TORSO ATTACKIf you are looking to shape, tone or maintain that area that everybody struggles with, then this is the class for you! This is a multi-exercise, multi-functional based class working with Fit Ball and Dyna Bands ensuring you use all areas of your core stabilising muscles resulting in a better posture.

3T EXPRESSAn exciting total body experience for all levels. Split into workout sections consisting of three or more training disciplines - Step, Spin, Muscle Tone, Fitball, mat work, Barbell, Kettlebell. This energetic class seeks to help you tone and increase your cardiovascular ability whilst burning fat.

STEP UPThis is a revolutionary new STEP workout that works on those areas of the legs and bum that you never thought you had. With this energy and cardio class you cannot fail to achieve your goals.

BODYFLEXThis class focuses its e� orts on increasing muscle stretch � bres and strengthening the interaction of ligaments and tendons within the body.

BODY BLITZA muscular strength and endurance workout for both upper and lower body making use of Dyna bands, hand weights, Barbells, and Floor work exercises, this class is guaranteed to make you sweat as we work on a leaner and stronger you.

SPIN CLUBThis is a new training concept that will have you � xed on your heart rate whilst keeping you motivated by the challenges set. Using our excellent spin bikes you will even be able to check your heart rate by the use of monitors.

CARDIO KICKA free fl owing, high energy, aerobic fun packed experience, this class incorporates all those areas that you love to hate, giving you that cardio muscle burn required to shape up.

GP/EI CIRCUITThis class takes body alignment and introduces muscular and joint mobility, giving you that functional workout with ease but also motivates, strengthens and increases muscle interaction.

JNR 11-16 CLUBWhether you fancy getting � t or are an aspiring young � tness trainer, these are fun and energetic classes especially for young people aged 11-16yrs. Dependent on what day you choose to join in you could be taking part in any one of the training activities on o� er including Boxercise Circuits, AB and Core Workouts, Toning Station Circuits, Fitness Skipping and Dyna Band Stamina Training.

FREESTYLE PILATESTaking place in a controlled, calming environment, this session allows you to reach body and mind harmony. The results will be plain to see as you experience the development, support and growth of your muscle make up.

BOXERCIRCUITThis � tness and conditioning class aims to improve your shape and stamina using a combination of boxing, conditioning and � tness disciplines. This class is a must for all who want to achieve their goals in super quick time. So work out the stresses of the day and join us for boxercircuit.

L.B.TS CIRCUITFocusing on those hard to contact muscles, this session uses strengthening, toning and muscle area targeting techniques to ensure you have the con� dence and motivation to unwrap on that next visit to the beach.

FUSION TONEThis is a blend of techniques, training methods, balance strengthening, functional adaptations within movement and target focusing all married together for an explosive and dynamic workout that pushes you further and further.

FITBALL TONEIncreases your fl exibility and loosens up those stiff tired muscles, making this challenging, fun, enjoyable class one not to miss! A low-impact workout hitting every muscle area within the lower body mainly using Fitballs, hand weights, Barbells and Dyna-bands motivationally blended to give you that lift for success.

PUMP TECHNIQUEIf you’re thinking about a PUMP® class, we recommend you attend a Pump Technique class to familiarise yourself with the execution of all moves that are performed during the class. You will learn how to squat, lunge, and dead-lift safely along with the technique for all of the upper body tracks.

TONE EXPRESSLet us put you through your paces, with this energetic class that helps work on those hard to hit areas. This class is a great stress-buster, combining both aerobic and anaerobic elements, with an anything goes equipment style.

TOTAL BODY FAST CLASSThis high energy session delivers that � tness punch to the body and cardiovascular system. Training to a mixture of workout disciplines, this dynamic � tness session burns o� calories whilst � rming those muscles.

TAI CHITai Chi is the balance between movement, thought and breathing. This is a positive interaction that realigns the body’s sense and harmonises the thought processors. The bene� ts being a more connected body structure with that added feeling of wellbeing.

20, 20 BODY BLASTA high energy class to work you hard! Working your heart while toning your muscles, this class is two workouts in one that delivers results.

ZUMBA CLASSThis easy to follow dance explosion uses hypnotic Latin rhythms to create a one of a kind � tness programme. Inspired by a mixture of traditional Cumbia, Salsa, Samba and Merengue moves, this Latino blend of excitement, gives you a feeling of delight whilst creating that toned sculpted appearance while improving your cardiovascular system.

SKIP FITA great way to keep � t, this � tness class helps to improve your cardio-respiratory fi tness as well as fl exibility and coordination. Helping to improve your overall � tness this class is great for building bones and working on those hips, thighs and bums.

To make the most of our classes at Meadows and enjoy the facilities on o� er please bare in mind the following advice when you are booking your class(es).

Classes are available to all members and casual users and require booking.

All members can book via reception or on the telephone.

Non members must pay when booking onto a class, telephone and reception bookings alike.

Casual users can book from 11:00am onwards, 7 days in advance allowing members priority booking from 7:00am -11:00am.

A maximum of two bookings can be made per call.

Due to limited class numbers, if you wish to cancel a class please provide twenty-four hours notice so that we can contact someone else on the reserve list.

Customers/non members who pay on booking for a class giving more than twenty-four hours notice will be entitled to a refund on their payment to carry over for the following week.

Members who do not provide twenty-four hours notice or fail to turn up for classes will be put on a register, two warnings will be given and on the third occasion a £4 (per class) � ne will be paid before any further bookings can be made.

Please arrive on time for your class, customers who turn up late and miss the warm up may not be able to join in a class.

Plastic drinks containers are allowed into the studio.

Report any injuries or medical conditions to your instructor before the class.

Sefton Council reserve the right to substitute sports instructors and amend class timetables when required – such changes may occur at short notice.

The class timetable will be reviewed on a regular basis. If you have any thoughts or comments please pass these back to reception on a customer comment card.

Non members refers to casual users. Members are Activ8 Anytime, Activ8 Daytime and Active Choices card holders.

B i r t h d ay P a r t i e sPlanning your party at Meadows couldn’t be easier and more fun. With a large indoor pool and exclusive function room, we offer the perfect party location whatever the weather. It’s the ideal location to keep kids of all ages entertained. Dive in the pool with friends and make a splash on your own infl atable party zone jam packed with fun as you celebrate with friends before entering your own exclusive VIP party area.

Fa n c y a D i p ?If you don’t want to join a class or the fi tness suite isn’t your thing, why not take a dip in one of the two indoor heated pools at Meadows?

With public swim sessions and aqua fi t classes to help you keep fi t, why not relax with friends in an aquatic workout? Alternatively, with pre-school and adult and baby swimming sessions available, why not take that fi rst dip with younger swimmers bonding with baby and child and enjoy making a splash.

Sw i m m i n g L e s s o n s :We have a comprehensive range of swimming lessons for all ages and abilities, from baby and toddler groups to adult swim classes – it’s never too late to take your fi rst dip. If you are interested in swimming lessons or would like more information, complete your details overleaf and return to the team at Meadows and we will be happy to provide you with more information.

Library Opening TimesMonday – Friday: 10:00am - 6:00pm

Saturday: 9:30am - 1:30pm

Sunday: CLOSED

Public Transport:There are a range of transport options which can be used to access Meadows with on site parkingprovided free of charge, disabled parking bays, bicycle parking and pedestrian access all provided to the front door.

If you are using public transport to access the site why not use the local train or bus and build it into your � tness work out.
