HOW DO I GET RID OF SWIRL MARKS AND SCRATCHES?

It depends on the severity and extent o the blemish. First, i you can catch your ingernail

in the scratch, you will need proessional help to correct it as its very deep. Otherwise,we recommend the ollowing (Note that ALL o these products are clear coat sae):

For very light scratches and swirls (those in e circular lines that ring a light source relectedin your paint), Ultimate Polish is the answer and may be applied by hand, orbital bueror dual action polisher (DA polisher). For hand application only, Meguiars Clear CoatSae Polishing Compound may also be used.

For heavier scratches, oxidation, or just generally neglected paint, Ultimate Compoundis the perect choice. It too can be saely applied by hand, orbital buer or with a DApolisher. For hand application only, Meguiars Clear Coat Sae Rubbing Compound

can also be used.

I you have an isolated scratch, ingernail mark or light scu, ScratchX 2.0 will saelyprovide the muscle to remove it.

WHATS A DUAL ACTION (OR DA) POLISHER, AND WHY SHOULDI USE ONE? ARENT THEY ONLY FOR THE PROS?!

While most proessional detailers use a DA polisher, they are deinitely not restricted toPro use only. Overall, the DA polisher will produce better results, aster. MeguiarsDAPolisher has been designed, along with our pads or both do it yoursel & proessionaluse. This antastic machine makes paint correction (with either Ultimate Polish or UltimateCompound) a breeze, and you can also apply a coat o your avorite wax in virtually notime. But the best thing about a MeguiarsDA Polisher is that it is completely sae touse and will not damage or burn through your paint or leave swirl marks like a rotarycan (i not used correctly). For those reasons, a rotary polisher should only be used bysomeone qualiied & properly trained.

HOW DO I REMOVE WATER SPOTS?

The obvious answer is to prevent getting water spots in the irst place by keeping yourvehicle waxed and maintained, as well as washing and drying the vehicle in the shadeand when the surace is cool. For those times where you do get that nasty, water spotsurprise, we recommend Ultimate Compound, ater youve washed your car (o course!)

HOW LONG DOES YOUR WAX LAST?

There is no standard answer regarding this as there are many variables that aect waxdurability: Type & condition o paint, local environment, exposure duration, quality &

type o wax & its application, quality o car wash, your personal tastes, preerences andexpectations to name a ew. Generally speaking, however, we recommend waxing yourcar every 3 -4 months or when your inger squeaks on a reshly washed surace.

WHICH IS BETTER: SPRAY, LIQUID OR PASTE WAX?

It depends on your goal and expectation. Our Ultimate Quik Waxspray wax, or example,delivers amazing results and you can wax your car in less than 15 minutes. However,spray waxes will need to be applied more requently than paste & liquid waxes every3-4 weeks. Between paste and liquid waxes, its really a matter o preerence as bothdeliver long-lasting protection, gloss and shine.

HOW LONG DO I WAIT BEFORE REMOVING THE WAX AFTER

ITS APPLIED?

Drying time or wax is de pendent on temperature and humidity, so theres no s et time. We employa simple swipe test to determine i the wax is ready to remove. Simply swipe the tip o your inger

(no, NOT the ingernail side!) over the waxed panel. I the swiped area is clean and clear withno smudging, the wax is ready to be removed. I you see smearing or streaking, wait aew more minutes and then try swiping again.

WHATS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ULTIMATE QUIK DETAILERAND QUIK DETAILER, AND ULTIMATE QUIK WAX AND QUIK WAX?

A common mis conception is that dishwashing detergent is sae to use as car

wash. Absolutely not!

Cleaning, or Surace Preparation, removes stubborn, bonded above suracecontaminants, as well as below-surace deects, like stains, blemishes and

oxidation. Ater your car is washed, pass your ingertips over the surace.Do you eel roughness like micro speed bumps on your paint? I so, these areabove-surace, bonded contaminants.
