INTRODUCTION
•The main topic confronts sexuality with a romantic background which is common to all of the different stories that we can observe.
•It all takes place in a typical american middle-low class neighbourhood where all of them are involved in a same atmosphere but from very different perspectives according to their age, sex and social status.
•According to us, the main story is Richard and Miranda’s which is, in some kind, “above” the rest due to the fulness of their common feeling in the end.

ANALYSIS OF THE MOST REPRESENTATIVE SCENES OF MIRANDA AND RICHARD
FIRST CONTACT: The shoe department store
•Setting: it looks like a real background shot on location in a shoe department store
•Lighting: High key lighting, it’s a bright scene with artificial illumination
•Costume: Contemporary clothing that suggests a middle class american actual society.
•Props: The pink shoes: will become an important item with a lot of meaning to this film, it converts into Miranda’s connection with Richard.
•Shots:we point out the close-up of Richard when he looks at her after Michaels comment.
•Sound/Music: we hear a dialogue, and a sound effect of backgorund music of the shoe department, typical of a mall.

Miranda and Michael
•He transmits to Miranda that the most important thing in someone’s life is to love and to be loved
•He is the voice of experience and is his gift to her
•She realizes how important his advice is for her hapiness

CONCLUSION
•Michael and Ellen’s story leads to Richard and Miranda’s
•Everyone is looking for love and affection
•Everyone is looking for the same feeling but they experience that search in very different ways. Their common goal is to achieve it.
•Time inevitably goes by and we have to do the most of it ( last scene, coin tapping).
