Fed Chair Powell: - Committed to using all tools to protect the economy

Fed balance sheet at $5.25 trillion as of March 25th, up 586 billion since March 18th

China's net gold imports via Hong Kong halved in February from the previous month, as

the outbreak slowed activity.

Gold steadied as the likely passage of a $2.2 trillion U.S. package helped soothe worries of

a global recession following the coronavirus outbreak.
