SIL-LOK Threshold Anchor Channel Assembly

• Extruded aluminum channel with screw and locking device creates a fully adjustablethreshold anchoring system for concrete installation.

• Simple installation: Channel is secured by dove-tail design concrete is poured. Afterinstallation of the channel, polyurethane liner should be removed from inside of channel.Special screws are inserted through the threshold, and the locking devices are thenattached to the end of the screws. The locking devices are inserted into the channel,and as the screws are tightened, the locking devices swing and lock under the flangesof the channel. The threshold may be removed by loosening the screws completely, andthe locking devices will release into the channel for future reinstallation.

• Available in 36", 72" and 144" lengths.

• Specify 1/4"-20 drill for any threshold which is to be used with the MCKSL450U.

• Replacement SIL-LOK anchors only(1/4"-20x 1-1/2" screw and locking device).

• When ordering, please provide the following information:

Type of assembly – Type 11 or 14 for center hung, Type 13 or 15 for offset hung.Materials – Saddles, floor plates, supports, risers, elevators, and stop strips.Closer to be used – manufacturer and model number.Net length – Jamb-to Jamb. Assembly Types 11, 13 and 14 are cut with center section 1/2" over net length up to 48" and 1" over net length over 48" to allow for fitting on the job. Please specify “net length”, if required. Assembly Type 15 is cut a net length because of factory-cut miters.Handing – For single doors, specify right or left hand. For pairs of doors, handing is not required.Special Finishes – Examples include polished, oxidized and oil rubbed, Satin Buff, and PemKote™.Special Fasteners – (For center section only). Examples include: MS and ES and SS/MS & ES.Special Fabrication Instructions – Notching. full miters, etc. Assembly Type 11 is supplied without mitered ends, and assembly Types 13, 14and 15 are supplied with both ends mitered. • Barrier-free over carpet.




• Used wherever a cover plate, expansion joint plate or wide extra-strength metal plate is needed. Aluminum plates are superior instrength to extruded sections and come in a standard aluminumfinish (A) with no flutes.

• Maximum standard length is 96" (Maximum “special order” length is144"). All aluminum plates are provided NET length.

• Both width edges are beveled at 45° angle; “single edge bevel” or“no bevel” is also available at no extra cost.

• Plates are supplied undrilled unless otherwise specified. Mckinney will drill tyour supplied specification at no extra cost.

• Plates are furnished with #10x1-1/2" plated wood screws (Other fastenersavailable at extra cost). Number of screws supplied: one (1) screw per footup to 8" in width; two (2) screws per foot over 8" in width and up to 12" inwidth, and three (3) screws per foot over 12" in width.
