    Assignment Question: Find and read: Johnson, G. (1992) Managing Strategic Change Strategy, Culture

    and Action, Long Range Planning, Vol. 25(1): 28-36

    Using the cultural web as a framework, undertake an analysis of the culture of an

    organisation with which you are familiar (2000 words)

    Critically evaluate the extent to which culture can make an important contribution to

    an organisations strategic success. Use relevant theories and examples to support

    your arguments.(1500 words)

    The assignment should:1. Begin with a clear introduction that outlines the aims and structure of the essay.

    2. Provide an introduction to the chosen organisation and a clear rationale for why it has been

    selected.3. Provide a detailed application of the cultural web framework to the chosen organisation,

    using appropriate and relevant terminology.

    4. Demonstrate a clear understanding of the main conceptual tools and frameworks under

    investigation, as evidenced through the quality of their application.

    5. Produce a balanced and critical evaluation of this particular strategic approach drawing on

    a wide-ranging and independently-sourced literature.
