SAP Note Header Data Symptom If large datasets are selected and displayed in transaction MB5B, the list output has a long runtime. On the selection screen, you can already set the non-hierarchical display as a list that is already significantly quicker than the hierarchical display. To further increase the speed of the non-hierarchical display, you can also switch the output of the ALV list display to the ALV Grid display with this SAP Note. This leads to a significantly shorter runtime for the list output. For this, you activate the BAdI MM_UI_OPTIMIZATIONS in the Implementation Guide (IMG) under "Materials Management -> General Settings for Materials Management -> BAdI to Activate MM UI Performance Optimizations". Note: The BAdI MM_UI_OPTIMIZATIONS is available in the IMG only if you have activated the business function LOG_MM_OPTIMIZATIONS. By activating this BAdI, you also activate this type of display for other transactions. Therefore, refer to the BAdI documentation.
