Your Alaska & Canada Cruise Itinerary

DAY 1 <> HOME TO SAN FRANCISCO PIER <> Morning pick-up at your home (greater Chico area) for transfer to the San Francisco pier. Board the beautiful Star Princess, your home for the next ten nights. Set sail this afternoon under the Golden Gate Bridge as you bid farewell to the beautiful San Francisco skyline. DAY 2-3 <> CRUISING TO ALASKA <> Enjoy your days at sea to explore everything that your ship has to offer. A stroll on deck will exhilarate you with fresh air. The evening is yours to delight in fabulous cuisine before continuing with a fun-filled evening that includes spectacular entertainment. DAY 4 <> KETCHIKAN <> Ketchikan is a major commercial fishing port with several salmon canneries and processing plants. It is the salmon capitol of the world and also has the world’s largest collection of totem poles. Today Creek Street is one of the more unique shopping areas of Alaska and an easy walk from the cruise ship dock. DAY 5 <> JUNEAU <> This morning you arrive in Juneau, the most cosmopolitan city along the Inside Passage, offering a variety of activities to choose from. The beautiful scenery may entice you to choose an optional shore excursion of a glacier expedition via helicopter, walk on Mendenhall Glacier, or take a floatplane trip over the Juneau icefield. Of course, just enjoying a stroll through the delightful shopping district and learning about the history of the city would make for a very memorable day. DAY 6 <> SKAGWAY <> Skagway was the gateway to the gold fields for the thousands who flocked to Alaska and the Yukon with the hope of striking it rich. Skagway may have boasted the shortest route to the Klondike, but it wasn't the easiest. Over 100 years ago, the White Pass route through the Coast Mountains and the shorter but steeper Chilkoot Trail were used by countless stampeders. Many a would-be miner perished on the treacherous Chilkoot Trail. DAY 7 <> ENDICOTT ARM & DAWES GLACIER SCENIC CRUISING <> One of Alaska’s lesser-known

gems, Endicott Arm Fjord marks the southern edge of Fords Terror Wilderness area. As you drift through its 30-mile-long stretch, you can’t help but be awed by the surrounding granite cliffs, mountain valleys and dozens of gushing waterfalls. Drifting icebergs, deep blue waters and a spectacular tidewater glacier only add to this natural spectacle’s appeal. Endicott Arm is one of the largest breeding grounds for harbor seals on the planet. Your journey through scenic Endicott Arm Fjord ends with a front-row view of Dawes Glacier. Standing over 600 feet tall and a half-mile wide, this very active icecap is known for its spectacular calving displays which produce huge, chunky icebergs that float in area waters. DAY 8 <> DAY AT SEA DAY 9 <> VICTORIA, BC <> After a relaxing morning on ship, the afternoon is yours to explore the beautiful island of Victoria, British Columbia. You may choose to explore the 35-acre Butchart Gardens, or see Craigdarroch Castle and Anne Hathaway’s Cottage of Shakespearean fame. You will have plenty of time to stroll through town to shop for British imports or to visit the Empress Hotel. DAY 10 <> CRUISING TO SAN FRANCISCO <> One last chance to enjoy the many offerings onboard the Star Princess on your final day at sea! DAY 11 <> SAN FRANCISCO TO HOME <> Transfer included back to your home. You will have wonderful memories of the “CANADA/ALASKA VOYAGE” - its unique beauty and history!
