present, Mr, Sproule, Engineer of' the Department of Highways, pfr. Taylor, Reeve of Delta, and Mr. Hamilton of the Greater Vancouver Water Bard. This had been previously verbally reported on by t h e Manager t o the Council. The Departmemt of Highways advised t h a t they would enlarge and lower t h e i r culvert d e r t he Scott Road i f it was necessary and i f t h i s w a s done the Water Board would have t o lower t h e i r p i p t o accommodate the new culvert , Reeve Taylor advised that t h e culvert on Nicholson Road had f a i l ed and the road had been blocked off. They had no plans t o renew t h i s culvert on the Nicholson Road and t h e road had been closed, If the ex is t ing culver t which had collapsed was removed, th6 flow of the water would be improved and tbis wauld benefi t the drainage from Swrey. The Municipality of Surrey agreed t o the expense of removing the Nicholson Road M v e r t .
