May 2013 Updates: Maisy Mouse’s art projects book

The girls had a fantastic time with the Maisy Mouse

project book.

They collected leaves in the yard

and with an assortment of

dried beans they made pictures.

They each had their own style...

Another project from the Maisy book was printing with veggies

Alma really “got into it”...

Next they made little bowls out of air drying clay

After constructing the bowls they pressed in buttons.

The girls suggested to give the bowls to their dad, who was very happy to take them to work to display on his desk.

The last Maisy project for the month was making paper crowns.

I suggested they make crowns for the dolls.

Joofy looked good in her new accessory...

Next, Alex got a crown (as he is king

of the animals, of course). They also

got thrones.

Alma helped too so the ballerina doll and

teddy got crowns.

When everyone was dressed, the pretend play started!

Alma added some speed to the plot, with the new remote control car, a gift from Gali for Shavuot.
