Those who were building the wall and those who were moving material did their part, everyone working with one hand, with his spear in the other." ~ Nehemiah4:16 - 17 (BBE) Mr Xue Bao (left) was severely injured and disabled from factory accident in 2005.Through a loan from OI China he is able to run a chicken farm and feed his family. Furthermore, recently, he decided to establish a rural chicken farmer coop for the disabled to encourage them walking out of the shadow of self-consciousness. OI China is very proud to receive strong support and personal endorsement of its service to the poor by the former Prime Minister of Australia, the Hon. Mr John Howard. On 13 March, 2012, he invited Mr Geoff Kells AM, Chairman of OI China, and Mr Aaron White, CEO, to meet and discussed about his plan to support OI China by a special visit. Praises & Thanksgivings: Thank God for the wonderful provision that the Huai’an operation is progressively reaching out new rural farmers in this new area. Many rural farmers have been trained and passed tests on OI China’s pre-lending courses. The training covers business ethics as well as essential management skills. Praise the Lord that the selection of summer interns completed with satisfactory results. Prayer Requests: Please pray for the preparation of the forthcoming Insight Trip in May organised for the Young Ambassadors for Opportunity (YAO) HK. Pray for the safe travel and for the blessing of the Lord over the visitors and our staff and the clients we visit. Please pray for the recruitment of co-workers to join OI China and share the load of service.
