MaxiForce Collapsible Bollardsoffer a special "Break-Away" feature that you won't see anywhere else. This patented technology allows traffic to be controlled in areas where immediate emergency access is needed and life safety concerns are paramount.

Balancing Safety and Security It is a patented collapsible bollard system that was specifically designed to balance the needs of both the security and safety practitioner.

Its distinctive collapsing feature is activated by a nut on the side of the bollard that fits a conventional fire hydrant wrench or by removing a padlock.

The patented break-away feature allows a fire truck, police car, or ambulance to gently push the bollard over and access the roadway. This break-away component is then easily replaced.

Great for use in Fire Lanes Fast access for first responders Compliments International Fire

Code Section 503 (IFC 503) Already AHJ approved in many

cities, counties and municipalities

In Case of An Emergency SituationPushing the bollards with the bumper of a vehicle will unlock the “Break Away Feature” which will collapse the bollard allowing immediate emergency access.

Breakaway Safety FeatureThe breakaway feature works by allowing the unit to “break away” from the base unit permitting

vehicular access without using the wrench operation or removing the padlock. Two unique inserts are designed to shear, or tear away, when pushed by a vehicle.
