"It stinks," senior Jon Wischmann said. That phrase was often heard when seniors were asked about becoming an adult. "People seem to expect more out of you when you get older. I don't really like that ," Tina Roesler said.

"You have to make decisions that

could affect the rest of your life. I'm not used to doing that ," Marc Hughes said. " I'm used to living one day at a time."

Even though there were some bad points of becoming an adult , there was also a bright side. "People seem to respect you more and actually treat you like your age," Terri Petterson said.

Parents began to increase their trust by easing curfews. "My parents actually let me stay out past 1 :OOa.m.," Torie Blanchard said. "You know that your on your way into the real world when that happens."

"Sometimes it's scary thinking that your not a kid any more and that you fit into the same catagory as your parents," Kyle Sabatka said.

Students' senioryearpreparedthem for new directions. Each would graduate and pursue individual careers. All of them were entering the world of adulthood.
