Benefits Narrative

• The Corporate Mentoring Program (CMP) The DMSCA Corporate Mentoring Program (CMP) is a manufacturing and logistic supplier development and supply chain excellence training system that supports suppliers capability and capacity expansion and assurance of mitigated supply chain performance risk.

• CMP Certification conveys to customers a suppliers relative maturity and competitiveness if strategically sourced supply chain.

1.GOVERNANCEStrategic Sourcing Executtive Leadership Committee (SSELC)Each Sustaining and Executive Corporate Member may appoint a CPO or Supply Chain Executive to the SSELC whose members guide DMSCA’s corporate and CMP development. The SSELC also organizes the Annual Executive Forum which may be held in conjunction with DMSCA’s annual education and training conference event.

Sourcing and Buying Organizattion (SBO) Advisory Committttee (SBO-AC) The SBO-AC consists of corporate members’ and prospective corporate members’ sourcing and buying organization’s directors and managers (category leaders, buyers, supplier relationship managers, etc.) that impact supplier procurement. The SBO-AC specifically provides guidelines for internal CMP Supplier Standard Metrics review and fosters understanding of industry group segmented supply chain performance requirements and methodologies for fostering collaboration with corporate supplier diversity organizations.

Supplier Diversity Organizattion (SDO) Advisory Committttee (SDO-AC) The SDO-AC consists of corporate members’ and prospective corporate members’ supplier diversity organizations’ directors and managers with responsibilities for supplier outreach, inclusion, and sustainability. The SDO-AC specifically provides input on methodologies for supplier outreach to external industry groups and development guidelines for the formation of DMSCA Industry Group Clusters. The SDO-AC also supports the need for supplier engagement in development initiatives such as the DMSCA Corporate Mentoring Program (CMP).

Industry Group Clusters (IGCs) Industry Group Clusters are built through the collaborative efforts of the SSELC, SBO-AC, and the SDO-AC and include corporate, prime supplier, and supplier members. The purpose of industry group segmented clusters is to focus on unique supply chain performance and operational issues affecting supplier development and to facilitate a closed environment for supplier member business development.

2. SUPPLIER DEVELOPMENT

No cost supplier engagement in the CMP Included in the membership is sponsorship of three (3) suppliers in the CMP. Member enrolled suppliers must rotate out after (3) three years and engage a Yr. 2+ CMP Suppliers at $3,750/yr.

Underwrite CMP Scholarships Corporate member may underwrite a supplier’s engagement in the CMP at $5,500 in year 1 and $3,750 in year 2+. CMP Scholarship suppliers must rotate out after (3) three years and engage a Yr. 2+ CMP Suppliers at $3,750/yr.

3. MEMBER PORTAL (2nd QT 2019)

Supplier data available to corporate member for review and retrieval is organized as follows:

Level 1 – Basic Contact and Business Information – Includes basic contact info and other data suchas facility number and size, employee count, socio-economic certifications, and NAISC

Level 2- Advance Business Informa on – includes equipment list and ope nal maturityassessment (OMA) in areas such as performance and results; management systems and planning;process quality; manufacturing capability & improvement processes; financial and material control;quality systems, logis cs, and sustainability.

4.SUPPLIER SUPPLY CHAIN PERFORMANCE MATURITYBased on progressive engagement in the CMP, suppliers earn three levels of cer ca : Leve 1 (Bronze)-Process Driven (supplier has benchmarked marked and understands current future state performancerequirements; Level 1 (Silver)- supplier analyzes and leverages the right strategic metrics (has a strategy)to configures supply chain and close gaps); Level 3 (Gold) - supplier implements best practices andreports con improvement to DMSCA on a consistent basis.

5.EDUCATION, TRAINING & SUPPLIER BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EVENTS
