There have been many advancements and innovations in these fields that have not only improved the quality of life for many but also saved the lives of countless human beings.

As these medical technologies advance we as a society are affected either directly or indirectly in a plethora of ways.

In this WebQuest you will investigate a Technological Advancement in the Medical Field and the impact it has had on the world as we know it today.

Your task is to research a technological innovation or advancement in the medical field and describe how that advancement has effected society today.

This includes everything from instruments and equipment used inside a hospital or doctors office to artificial joints!
