“Energy is all around you, but do you know what it really is?

Does it power your computer? Is it what makes you run faster downhill? Is it the heat from a bonfire?  Energy is all of those things. Simply put, energy is the ability to perform work.”

“New Belgium Brewery has found a way to put waste to good use. By using a system called cogeneration, waste is turned into a useful biofuel and cuts down on pollution. After beer is made, there is a lot of wastewater left. The sludgy water is filled with yeast, malt, and other organic materials and must be treated. The wastewater treatment process creates methane that the brewery collects and uses to power a cogeneration engine. New Belgium Brewery is able to get 15% of its electrical energy through cogeneration and craft a more environmentally friendly brew.”

“Across Wyoming, hunting and fishing shapes who we are. It is in our blood and part of our cultural heritage. Local craftsmen and artisans put this significance on display by turning common hunting and fishing gear to functional works of folk art.

These artists use their skill to continue the outdoor traditions many of us hold dear. From fishing flies to gunstocks to saddlebags, each artist creates something special. Something of beauty. Something of Wyoming.”
