SENTENCE EQUATION
It’s very simple. You have a sentence like “Bob
swam 6 meters more than Joe”. Then you get the
names “Bob and Joe” and the 6 meters and make
something like this.
B=J+6m
Simple right

ORDER OF OPERATION
Order of operation is problem that looks like this
“(9X3)+5-2x4=“. The secret is B.E.D.M.A.S.
Brackets, Exponentiation, Division, Multiplication,
Addition, Subtraction.
You must do them in this order or they will go
wrong.
By the way the answer is 24.

PERFECT SQUARE
The perfect square of a number is a number times
its self. I’ll give you the first 15.
1=1 2=4 3=9 4=16 5=25 6=36 7=49 8=64 9=81
10=100 11=121 12=144 13=169 14=196 15=225.

FACTORS
A Factor is the number that are multiplying each
other.
EX. 6x5=30 3x3=9 4x8=32
The numbers in red are the factors.

GREATEST COMMON FACTOR
The greatest common factor or GCF is the largest
number that two numbers have in comparison.
EX. The GCF of 9 and 6 is 3 because nine can go
into three and three is the largest number that nine
and six have in common.

REAL NUMBERS
Real Number is pretty much all the numbers like
Integers, rational numbers, whole numbers and
natural numbers.
![Page 8: Mathematics](https://reader035.fdocuments.us/reader035/viewer/2022070302/5477796ab4af9f27178b45ce/html5/thumbnails/8.jpg)
ADD AND SUBTRACT INTEGERS
Integers are numbers below 0 so they look like this
-1 -2 -3.
To add them is like subtracting them so -1+-4=-1--
4= -5
To subtract its like adding them so -1-4=-1+4= 3

DIVIDING AND MULTIPLYING INTEGERS
It’s the same as in adding and subtracting integers.
To make a good under standing of this you can see
this tip below.
positive x positive= positive negative x negative =
positive
Positive x negative = negative negative x positive
= negative

NUMBER ROOTS
The square root of a number is the number divided
by 2.
EX. The square rout of 4 is 2
The cubed rout of a number is the number times it
self times it self.
EX. 3x3x3=27
