Kindergarten

Math Standard:

◦ MKN1. Students will connect numerals to the quantities they represent. d. Sequence and

identify using ordinal numbers (1st-10th).

Seven Blind Mice written by Ed Young is about seven mice who discover an object by their pond. They go out one at a time to try and figure out what the item is. In the end one mouse finally figures out what the object really is and brings all of the other mice to prove it.

During language arts centers students will fill in the chart below. They will draw in the items needed or each box, except for the mice. They will have cut outs of each colored mice to place in the correct box.

Students will turn in the competed spread sheet and will be graded on how well they were able to fill in the blanks.
