Adding or subtracting a row will change the length by ⁷/16 inch.

The Building Blocks of Modern BeadingBeki’s expertly coordinated colors enhance this elaborate, undulating assemblage of two-hole shaped beads.

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Add a stop bead to a comfortable length of thread, leaving a two inch tail. Add G, C, F, E, F, C, G, A, G, G, G, H, H, H. (Figure 2)

2. Pass back through the last G to form a picot. Add G, G, then pass through the second hole of the Tile (A). (Figure 2)

7. Add G, E, G, B, G, then pass through the second hole of the SuperDuo (E). Add G, then pass through the Tile (A) from the inner side of the hole. Pass through the sequence G, E, G, and B again. (Figure 7)

8. Add G, D, F, E, F, D, G, B, then repeat Step 4. (Figure 8)

9. Add G, then pass through the second hole of the Lentil (D). Add F, then pass through the second hole of the SuperDuo (E). Add F, then pass through the second hole of the Lentil (D). Add G, then pass through the second hole of the Tile (B). (Figure 9)

3. Add G, then pass through the second hole of the Lentil (C). Add F, pass through the second hole of the SuperDuo (E). Add F, then pass through the second hole of the Lentil (C). Add G, A. (Figure 3)

4. Add G, G, G, H, H, H. Pass back through the last 11º (G) to form a picot. Add G, G, then pass through the other hole of the Tile (A). (Figure 4)

5. Remove the stop bead and tie two overhand knots with the tail thread and working thread (Figure 5).

10. Repeat Step 4, then pass through G, D, F. Add G. Pass through the 8º (F) on the prior row. Add G. Continue passing through the sequence F, D, G, B on the current row. (Figure 10)

11. Add G, E, G, then pass through the outside hole of the Tile (A). Add G, then pass through the Superduo (E), add G. Pass through the Tile (B) from the inner side of the hole. (Figure 11)

12. Make a U-turn in the Tile (B) and repeat Step 6. (Figure 12)

13. Repeat Steps 7-12, alternating color combinations, for the remaining length of the bracelet (17 Tile rows). With a new length of thread, add your desired clasp.

6. Pass through the second Tile hole (A), 11º (G), second Lentil hole (C), 8º (F), then add G, F, G. Skip the SuperDuo (E) and pass into the 8º (F). Continue passing through the Lentil (C), 11º (G) and Tile (A). (Figure 6)
