Dynamic Temperature and Climate Simulation Chambers

BINDER environmental chambers are perfectly suited to material testing under dynamic conditions. The standard rapid alternation speeds of around 5 K/min make standard-compliant testing possible.

An environmental simulation chamber of the MK and MKT Series is suitable for complex temperature profiles in the range of -40 °C (MK) or -70 °C (MKT) to 180 °C.

Determination of the cooling rate acc. To IEC 60068-3-5

► E.g. MK: ► Tmin = -40 °C ► Tmax = 180 °C Temperature span is 220 °C Maintain Tmax ( here 180°C ) - set point is Tmin

► Start measuring the time 158 °C when 90% of the temperature span are achieved (here 158 °C )► Stop time measurement when 10% of the temperature span are

► The IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) is a platform for industry and authorities

► The IEC is developing worldwide recognized International Standards for devices containing electro technology

► The IEC 60068 Standard specifies the conditions for environmental testing

► It is transformed into national and regional standards by the member committees (countries)

► The implementation in the EU is entitled EN 60068
