JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Summary/Purpose

This position is responsible for providing the ongoing support of customers, consulting and

implementation support in relation to the successful selling and installation of technology

solutions.

Main Activities

• Maintaining clients Materials Management System

• Providing administration, and support services by responding to TQ’s on clients for Materials

Management System

• Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of Intergraph’s Materials Management System to fulfil

customer consulting tasks and ensure data within the system are continuously up to date

• Analysis of application failures/issues reported by users and resolution management with the

team

Qualifications and Experience Required

Essential:

• Detailed knowledge in interpreting Material Specification from EPC’s

• Experienced in managing material specification, understanding of industry standards such as

ANSI, API, ASTM etc

• Knowledge and experience in using design software tool such as Smartplant Materials/

SmartPlant Reference Database is preferred

• Customer Service experience and ability.

• Degree level qualifications in a technical discipline such as Materials Engineering is highly

desirable. However, equivalent 3-5 years practical experience will be considered.

Skills and Abilities

Essential:

• The role requires a blend of technical, industry and consulting skills

• Highly developed skills, knowledge and ability in the relevant technological environment, eg:

Intergraph and Microsoft

• Analytical, diagnostic and problem-solving skills

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Ability to document methods, workflows and training materials

• Strong presentation skills including the ability to tailor and conduct presentations to meet the

needs of different audiences

• Ability to effectively deliver training to a variety of users

• High level of self-motivation

• Ability to travel extensively and work within tight deadline

• Ability to take on additional responsibilities with other application software

Desirable:

• Extensive Process Industry EPC Project or Owner Operator Experience across all engineering

disciplines.

• Added advantage if there is experience with a variety of Intergraph products including

o SmartPlant Materials

o SmartPlant Reference Database

• Preferred to have experience on Oracle, MS SQL database

• Added advantage if candidates have VB knowledge and .Net experience
