oxidant, diuretic, diaphoretic, energizing and calming properties.
• Associated with esophageal cancer. • Recently, there has been research relating
the consumption of Mate to weight loss and anti-cancer qualities.
• Main active components are caffeine, saponins, chlorogenic acids and phenolic compounds.
