RON THE RECORD

BREAKER!

Cristiano Ronaldo has broken tons of records in his epic career, and he could bag

another one on Saturday. The current record for goals in a CL season is 17, which CR7 already holds, and the

footy ledge has 16 this season! Can he hit two

at the San Siro and beat his previous total?

CAN REAL STOP

GRIEZMANN?

If Real want to win their 11th Champions League trophy, they’ll have to keep Atletico goal king

Antoine Griezmann quiet! The speed demon’s

already hit seven CL goals this season, including three in the knockout

stages! He could be the match winner on Saturday!

DEFENCE v

DEFENCE!

Two of the best defences in the CL go

head-to-head this weekend, so it could be a tight match! Real have only conceded five goals

in total, while Atletico have let in just six

despite playing twice against Barça and twice

against Bayern!

IS THIS

SIMEONE’S TIME?

Diego Simeone’s won La Liga, the Europa League and the Copa del Rey, but never the

Champions League! We think he’s one of the best gaffers in

the world, but winning this weekend would make him a legend! Even more clubs will be after him if Atletico do it!

BALE TO WIN

IT AGAIN?

In Real’s 4-1 win over Atletico in the 2014 CL

Final, Gareth Bale bagged the all-important second goal in extra-time! That net-buster is the only time the Wales wizard

has ever scored against Atletico, but we reckon Gaz could change that

record on Saturday!

TEAM NEWS

Real stars Bale, Modric and Navas have all missed games

recently with injuy, but should be fit for Saturday. With no injuries,

Simeone’s only worry is who should partner skipper Gabi in central midfield – Augusto or Tiago? Tough choice, Diego!

MATCH SAYS...

Real 1-2 Atletico

“We reckon it’ll be a really close game, with Atletico just

nicking it! Griezmann and Torres will put Atletico 2-0 up before

Benzema pulls one back for Real, but Simeone’s men will

hold on for a famous win!”

ENGLAND v AU

ANDROS

TOWNSENDIf Welbeck hadn’t got injured, Andros might have missed out so he’s got lots to prove! The dribbler had a decent end to this season and, if he rips it up against Australia, Roy might be forced to start him at the Euros in France!

DANIEL

STURRIDGESturridge started to prove his fitness at the end of the season for Liverpool, but Roy Hodgson will still need convincing! A year ago he was guaranteed a starting spot, but now he’s fallen behind Vardy and Kane!

Danny’s behind Wilshere and Jordan Henderson in the midfield pecking order, but if he impresses in this clash he could seal his spot in the final 23-man squad – especially if either of those two get injured again!

JACK WILSHERE

Wilshere’s had another injury-hit season, but you can’t question his quality! We reckon he’s one of the most creative players in the England squad, and should be given a chance on Friday to show that!

KOMPANY’S INJURY KO!

One player who defo won’t be playing at the Euros is Belgium captain Vincent Kompany! The City CB injured his groin against Real Madrid in the Champions League!

JOE’S RACETO BE FIT!

Wales star Joe Ledley faces a race against time to be fit for Euro 2016! The Palace midfielder broke his leg recently, but could still go to France this summer!

LATEST EURO NEWS!

REPUBLIC OF IRELAND v HOLLANDMartin O’Neill has got some big selection headaches ahead of this friendly – we check out where!

CENTRE-BACK SHOWDOWN!

O’Shea started nearly every qualifier, so we think he’s a defo to start! O’Neill then has to choose from Wilson, Keogh and Clark as his CB partner. Wilson’s been injured for ages, but if he can prove his fitness before France, he could start!

NET-BUSTERS DO BATTLE!

Ireland started most of the qualifiers with two up front, and we reckon they’ll do the same at the Euros! Keane’s their record scorer, Walters hit five in qualifying and Long was the top-scoring Irishman in the Prem this season!

KEEPER CONTEST!O’Neill picked four keepers in his squad for these games, and all of them are fighting it out to be No.1! Randolph and Given have just nine league starts between them this season, while Westwood and Forde aren’t Prem keepers! Who will get the nod?

KYLE LAFFERTYStriker Lafferty only started four league games in 2015-16, but we still expect him to lead the line for his country this summer! The lethal finisher ripped net seven times in qualifying, and if he hits form in France, Northern Ireland could cause a few shocks!
