  • MATCH PREVIEW

SUFC recognises that comments made in good spirit are part o the game of rugby. SUFC will not tolerate verbal abuse of any kind by members of the crowd towards, players, match officials or other spectators. Patrons found verbally attacking players or officials will be asked to leave the ground.

    RESPECT THE GAME

We kick off today’s game days with our Women’s 2 team up against Campbelltown, the Lionesses are on the hunt for their first win of the season.

The Students are coming off the back of the BYE round, they’re well rested and glad to be back at The Birthplace this afternoon. All matches are vitally importantly today to keep our Club Championship hopes alive. West Harbour always pose a threat so we know we have our work cut out today to come away with the win.

1st Grade will be playing for the White Ribbon Cup. The White Ribbon Cup was established by the Inner West Domestic Violence Liaison Committee with WHRFC and SUFC in 2011 and is played annually between the two 1st Grade sides. It is a vehicle for players, coaches, managers and supporters to raise awareness of the White Ribbon campaign, and to also take the White Ribbon Oath, swearing never to commit, excuse or remain silent about violence against women.

Congratulations to Angus Bell on his long awaited 1st Grade debut!

Enjoy your afternoon, and as always Up the Students!
