1. Alphabet Soup
ERAS (for most), CAS (for a few) = the service that collates and submits all the documents you enter to the programs you choose
NRMP (for most), SF match, Urology Match, Military Match = computer service that actually matches applicant with program according to the rank lists submitted
YOU WILL NEED TO REGISTER FOR BOTH: one or more document distribution systems one or more match systems

11 - 20 Add’l $8 each
21 - 30 Add’l $15 each
> 31 Add’l $25 each
NRMP Registration $40 per specialty

How does the Match work?
THE MATCH AGREEMENT IS A THE MATCH AGREEMENT IS A LEGALLY BINDING CONTRACTLEGALLY BINDING CONTRACT
If you enter the NRMP or SF match, you are obligated to accept your placement. As with any contract, there are significant legal consequences for breaking the contract.
