Willis began life as a marine insurance broker in 1828 making it one of the oldest still operating. Marine was the foundation of our Group and today it remains a core specialist and industry focused business.

The Masters of Marine course is intended to provide you with a greater understanding of the main insurances for ship operators’ and port operators’ risks and we have structured the sessions aiming to be both informative and interactive.

The course is not exhaustive but we hope it represents a solid grounding in the main topics and that the subjects covered stimulate your interest to find out more.

Naturally during (and even after completing) the course, our team will be happy to respond to any queries you may have. We intend the three days to be as collaborative as possible and we welcome everyone’s contribution. As the old adage goes, ‘The only stupid question is the one left unasked’.

I hope you find the course of benefit in your role and look forward to your feedback in due course.

Ben Abraham, CEO Marine
