MasterSeries Pile Cap Designer provides you with afast route to the analysis, design, design, detailing andscheduling of regularly shaped pile caps for 1 to 9 piles.
The design and detailing results are displayed on
the screen at all times and are instantaneouslyupdated with every key press for true interactivedesign. The graphically explicit output allows you tosee at a glance how the pile cap is being detailed,while clear and concise calculation output providesinstant evaluation of the comprehensive andaccurate design.
MasterRC Pile Cap Designer makes light work ofthe laborious task of designing and detailing pilecaps, whilst providing advanced design options
allowing you to maintain control over the designprocess.
DESIGN FEATURES
Design pile caps based on bending theory•or using a truss analogy method.
Deep beams accurately designed•using deep Beam Theory.
In truss analogy, when piles are greater than 3 diameters•apart, any steel outside the 3 diameter bands is ignored.The truss analogy also considers concrete compression.
Enhanced shear stress capacity is taken into account• when checking plane and punching shear.
1-9 Pile pile-caps with Concentric Axial Load.•
The general form of the pile caps follows the conventions•established by Whittle and Beattie (Concrete, 1972).
OPERATIONAL FEATURES
Calcs, dimensions and reinforcement details•are clearly presented on screen.
You can export the calculations and dimensioned•detailed drawing and schedule to the printer.PowerPad users can export to Word.
The Pile Cap Designer uses the efficient and•popular MasterSeries Designer Suite interface.
Easy to learn and simple to use.•
Any number of pile caps can be designed in one file.•

DETAILING FEATURES
Use circular or square piles.•
Draws and details the variable bars•in 3 and 7 pile pile-caps.
Option to provide nominal top reinforcement.•
You can also export dimensions and•reinforcement details to DXF file.
Users with MasterRC can export details to AutoCAD•in MasterRC format, where reinforcement can bemodified and scheduled inside MasterRC to match.
User defined pile spacing & overhang.•
SCHEDULING FEATURES
Produce complete and accurate schedules•with a single mouse click.
Export the schedule to the printer. PowerPad•
users can export to Word.Choose to detail the reinforcement to BS•4466, BS 8666 or SABS 082.
Include weights per bar size and weights per pile cap.•
Schedules for 3 and 7 pile Pile-Caps can only be•scheduled in MasterRC due to the varying bar lengths.
POWERPADMasterRC Pile Cap is included in POWERPAD and POWERPADPLUS for•the analysis, design and detailing of pile caps with one or two piles.
With POWERPADGOLD you can choose to upgrade MasterRC Pile Cap to•the full version, allowing you to design up to 9 pile arrangements.
