Become a photographer and edit your photos like a pro by mastering the art of VSCO with these easy steps.

Tip 1: Upload your

image

Upload your imageOpening the app will bring you directly to your library. This is where all the pictures to be edited or pictures that have been already edited live. On the top left of the screen, you will notice a + sign, click on it.

Tip 2:Filter

FilterThe blue line above the photo indicates the the image you have selected. Click on the image again to enlarge it and edit.

FilterSelect the filter you like the best. Remember, Instagram is all about clarity. So don’t choose a filter that is going to make your image blurry. We have chosen the A4 filter.

FilterIf you like the filter but not the intensity, click on the filter option again and then slide the ball up and down to change the intensity. Tap the circle in the bottom right to save the changes.

Tip 3:Enhance

EnhanceOnce you have chosen the right filter for your picture, click on the arrow at the bottom of your screen to open up more options and then click on the two lines.

BrightnessClick on the little sun in the bottom left corner. Once clicked, a slider bar will appear. Slide the dot to the left and right to make the image darker and brighter.

ContrastContrast an edit that can give your image a little bit more color, or a little less. Click on the circle that is half black and white and then slide the dot just like you did when changing the brightness.

CLarityIf your picture is a little blurry, clarity is perfect to sharpen the image. Click on the two sided triangle and slide the left or right.

Download to phoneOnce you finish editing, click on the arrow at the bottom of the screen.

Download to phoneYou can choose a variety of sizes to save your photo as. We prefer to use the actual size.
