ALUMNI TESTIMONIALS

“The UGent-VUB MSc. in Photonics Engineering offers the students the combi-nation of both theory and applications in optics and photonics.”

Shanti Toenger, CNRS - University of Franche-Comté PhD-student (France)

“The MSc. in Photonics Engineering has an excellent combination of courses and laboratory work which covers all the basic aspects of photonics and all im-portant subfields.”

Abdul Shakoor, St Andrews University PhD-student (UK)

“The MSc. in Photonics Engineering offers great insights in the state-of-the-art technologies in this exciting field. A good understanding can help you build a career in many domains, such as in the extensive world of telecommunication."

Sven Van Erps, I&C Coordinator Ericsson (Belgium)

“Surprisingly for me, the researchers, who are writing the science right now, were my professors. This is surely one of the best options for any photonics as-pirant...”

Alvaro Casas Bedoya, Sydney University PhD-student (Australia)
