The Master’s and Certificate programs in Analytics and Information Management accept students in the fall and spring semesters. As an applicant, you have the opportunity to complete the program at a full- or part-time pace. We take a holistic approach in reviewing applications for admission. The following are required for admissions consideration:

• Official transcripts from all undergraduate and graduate institutions attended. A 3.0 or better GPA is preferred for admissions consideration.

• Résumé outlining your professional work experience, educational background and roles and responsibilities.

• Two application essays:

1. Please provide a summary of your academic and professional background, current career endeavors, motivation for pursuing a graduate business education and future career goals.

2. What strengths would you bring to the program?

• Two letters of recommendation (professional or academic)

• GMAT or GRE scores. A 500 or better on the GMAT or a 305 or better on the GRE is preferred for admissions consideration. GMAT/GRE waivers are available for qualified applicants. Many individuals request and are granted a GMAT/GRE waiver.

• TOEFL or IELTS (for international applicants). A TOEFL score of 90iBT or an IELTS score of 7.0 or better is required for admissions consideration.

Do you qualify for aGMAT/GRE waiver?

You may be able to waive the GMAT or GRE if you:

• graduated from an AACSB-accredited business school or ABET accredited engineering program within the past 10 years and earned a 3.25 or greater cumulative GPA. Exceptions are made on a case-by case basis for those graduating with an undergraduate degree from a non-AACSB accredited program.

• have three or more years of continuous, full-time professional work experience. Factors considered in the waiver decision include the type and substance of work experience and the academic record as indicated on official transcripts.

• have previously earned a graduate degree. Factors considered in the waiver decision include the program of study and your academic record as indicated on official transcripts.
