Highlights of Change General Changes - All wording as “operates normally” and “check to be operative” are reworded as
“is/are operative/verified operative” - All wording as “flight days” are re—worded as “consecutive calendar days” - Computer fault codes are deleted, and transferred to Fault Guide Dispatch
Assistance (FGDA) - Generic fault code items are added in MMEL. The purpose of the codes is to provide
the MMEL inputs which correspond to the FGDA outputs (for the fault codes cases where no item is considered inoperative).
- “EFIS FAN are verified operative” is added when the flight is conducted in an unpressurized configuration.
- Applicability to “A/C with TFE 7312-40 engines” is modified as “A/C with M2518 or SB280”
- “Before Takeoff” is replaced by “Before Departure’ when the check has to be performed before taxi.
- Various rewordings - Complete revision to all pages of MMEL. This is to accommodate the new format
where all pages of an ATA chapter are change when there are any changes anywhere in the chapter.
