What is Educatronics?
Educatronics is a new educational paradigm characterized by supporting itself in infotronics in order to
participate in the Knowledge Society and to develop strategies to operate in global settings and cyber-social
scenarios.
Educatronics is structured by the integration of three (3) elements in the educational practice. These
elements are: e-learning, e-training and trainer devices. The convergence of these three elements in a
single learning process allows the learner to acquire cognitive and practical knowledge as well as
instrumental abilities for global settings and cyber-social scenarios.
The teacher of the future will be one with educatronic thinking, who supports itself in infotronics as a
technological means to develop its educational, pedagogic, methodologic and didactic practice for global and
cyber-social scenarios.
From this perspective and principles we designed an Academic Program that allows the student to become
an agent of change, critical, analytic, proactive, and innovative; who develops educatronic solutions and
creates educational models pertinent to global settings.

The Master in Educatronics is specially directed for teachers (by career or profession) who are decided to
transform themselves and Education itself, who are passionate about innovation and invention, and who are
aware of the role of Globalization and Cyber-society in the quality and excellence of education.

Internacionalization
High quality Global Programs (World Class Univeristy level programs) are characterized by having a strong
internationalization program. The main internationalization strategy is the International Mobility Program:
Exchanges, Study Abroad, Technological and Scientific Missions, among others.
The Technological and Scientific Missions are the possibilities students have to compare and enrich their
learning process with other universities and knowledge industries in the world.
The Taiwan-Hong Kong Academic Mission was
developed to allow the student to have a global
and cyber-social view of Education, analyzing the
educational systems of the world with a high level
of economic, technological and academic
development.
Beside the academic objectives, and being an
opportunity for personal and professional growth,
the Academic Mission can be transferred as
academic credits for the Master’s Program.

Master’s Project
A fundamental characteristic of the Master in Educatronics is the Master’s Final Project, an essential
requirement in opting for the degree: The construction of an Educatronic Solution implemented in the
student’s daily practice.
The Educatronic Solution the student has to create shall be the result of an individual research process
stemming from the proposal of a Digital Educational Material; either a Pedagogic Mediator or a Digital
Trainer (Simulator).
Each student will receive an infotronic device (I3LAP) and an
access device in order to design and develop their Final Project.
These devices will be delivered to the student once they have
begun their process of designing and developing their Project.
These devices will allow the student to:

Begin, from the first semester, the development of the Final Project in a pertinent Learning Mana-
gement Environment
Implement educational infotronics at their work environment (Classroom)
Achieve higher levels of entrepreneurship
Overcome the national and local deficiency of Telematic Infrastructure
Promote and Contribute to the Information Society in their country
Tuition and Fees
The Master in Educatrioncs requires a semester investment of two hundred two thousand and fifty
US dollars (US $ 2.250); thus the entire tuition for the program amounts to a total investment of nine
thousand dollars over the two year program (US $ 9.000).

To be admitted to the program you must fill the online form and present the following documentation:
National Identification Cart, Passport or equivalent official document.

Copy of the Graduation Act
Convalidation of the Graduate or Undergraduate studies at Colombian Embassy

Declaration of Authenticity Form*

Copy of Transfer of payment or certification of payment for the enrollment fee (US$ 25)**
