The events hosted travel and
lifestyle media along with key
travel trade contacts for a night of
networking that included a special
presentation showcasing the latest
news from MOTT and five
industry partners including the:
Greater Boston CVB,
Plymouth County CVB, Visit
North Central Massachusetts,
North of Boston CVB and The
Clark Art Institute.
The 2019 Canadian Mission took place April 9-11 with
events in Toronto and Montreal.

DISCOVER NEW ENGLAND SUMMIT – MAY 2019
The 24th Annual Discover New England Tourism
Summit & International Marketplace took place May 13-
15 at the Foxwoods Resort & Casino in Connecticut.
Massachusetts was the largest
state delegation from New
England with over 100 travel
industry participants from
Massachusetts.
MOTT took over 50 meetings
with international tour operators.
MOTT hosted a breakfast for the
international tour operators on
the Massachusetts Whale Trail
which included a presentation
from the New Bedford
Whaling Museum.

IPW – JUNE 2019
IPW 2019 took place June 2 – 5 in Anaheim, California. Massachusetts and New England were
well represented earlier this month at
the United States Travel Association’s
IPW, the leading international tourism
marketplace in North America.
MOTT took nearly 80 appointments
with leading tour operators and
international media, pitching the
Commonwealth as a destination for
international travel.
MOTT was joined by representatives
from DNE, 5 regional tourism councils,
and over a dozen attractions from
throughout Massachusetts.
