CATECHETICAL SUNDAY
This Sunday, we honor those men and women who give of their time and talent to pass on the faith to our chil-dren. What they are doing is joining with parents in sup-plementing the responsibility that each family assumed when their child was baptized. Each catechist works in conjunction with our excellent Religious Education staff to provide one of the best programs in Orange County. We are grateful for their dedication. May they be blessed this upcoming year.
******
The Parish Counseling Network
As priests, people come to us with their issues, problems and concerns. While we can provide a sympathetic ear, we are not professionals. Orange County Catholic Chari-ties was the first in the Archdiocese to provide profes-sional counseling at minimal cost. The counseling assists those with marital issues, adolescent concerns, bereave-ment, or personal problems. All one has to do is speak to a priest who will make a referral and connect one to the Parish Counseling Network. The network entitles parish-ioners to 6 sessions with a professional clinician who can help with a variety of individual and inter-personal is-sues.

Outdoor Stations
Dear Parishioners,
I am writing to you with an update on the outdoor Stations of the Cross that I am working on for my Eagle Scout Ser-vice Project. The Stations were handmade and took more than ten months to be completed and delivered. I am cur-rently working to complete the installation behind the church, and I expect them to be completed within a month.
Approximately $600 is still needed for landscaping and installation materials. The money collected in the poor box this weekend will be used to cover these costs.
Thank You for your patience and support, James Juliano, Boy Scout Troop 38

Where have you been to Mass this Summer?
Share your destination with us!
We have a huge bulletin board with a world map in the church atrium and we would love it if you could share the locations of where you attended Mass when you are on vacation. Just take a sticky dot and attach it to the loca-tion and write on the list where you attended Mass. It will be so much fun to see all the locations where our St. Stephen's community has attended Mass this summer!
Warwick Visioning Survey
The town and villages of Warwick are conducting a sur-vey as part of a 2017 visioning - to plan for the commu-nity's future. To be successful, it should include as many voices as possible. A survey is available online at www.community2gether.org or in paper copy at the town's three public libraries. For more information con-tact by email: [email protected]
From September 27 to November 5, our community will take part in 40 Days for Life … a groundbreaking, coordi-nated international mobilization. We pray that, with God’s help, this will mark the beginning of the end of abortion in our city — and beyond.
