MASS FOR THE SALVATION OF THE PEOPLEwhich Mass is commonly called

"I AM THE SAL VATION OF THE PEOPLE"and which was known elsewhere as the

MASS FOR THE SALVATION OF PRINCES ANDPRELATES, PRIESTS AND MONKS, VIRGINS ANDALL THE FAITHFUL .The Office (Introit):+ "I am the Salvation of the people," salth the Lord God. And to implore Thy clemency withbowed minds: that Thou mayest make Thy servants and handmaidens subject, toThee with all their "heart, whom Thou hast joined to us by the intimacy of holyendearment, that, filled with the Spirit of Thy Love, they may be' cleansed fromearthly desires, and may be rendered fit, by Thy gift, for heavenly blessedness.Through Christ Our Lord. Admonished by saving precepts, and guided by divineinstitution, we make bold to say: ~. / f this Mass is said in Procession. the Pontifical Blessing is not given atthis point. but the Procession returns to the High Altar of the Main Church asgiven on the pages following the Rogation Mass.
