Wednesday, June 22 AM After breakfast enjoy a guided city tour. Visit the three temples and the

Euphrasius Basilica from the 6th century. The Basilca is under UNESCO protection and is decorated with stunning sixth-century Byzantine mosaics. It was built on the remains of an earlier tri- naval basilica, in the first half of the 6th century, during the period of Bishop Euphrasius, whose name it bears.

Wednesday, June 22 AM PM In the afternoon visit the Porec Museum (Regional Museum). The museum is housed in the Baroque Sincic Palace. It offers displays on the entire history of Porec starting from the Paleolithic Age. Collections include archeological finds from the 3rd Century b.c. such as pottery fragments, religious icons, choir stalls, religious paintings, furniture displays, and numerous other miscellaneous items.

Possible outdoor performance. For example at the Marina in the late afternoon.

AM Following breakfast transfer to Lake Bled (approx. 1 hour drive) where you will have a walking

tour of the spectacular Vintgar Gorge in Triglav National Park

(Slovenia’s pride and joy) and a visit to the picturesque Bled Castle, perched on a rock on the northern side of town with the Julian Alps all around.

PM Transfer back to Ljubljana in the afternoon.

Ljubljana – Trieste approx. 60 miles / 1 hr – 70 min drive).

Trieste is situated towards the end of a narrow strip of land lying between the Adriatic Sea and Italy's border with Slovenia, which lies almost immediately south, east and north of the city. Trieste is located at the head of the Gulf of Trieste and throughout history it has been influenced by its location at the crossroads of Germanic, Latin, Austro- Hungarian and Slavic cultures.

Upon arrival you will visit Miramare Castle with its flourishing park, full of precious botanic species, and

its charming panoramic view.

Tuesday, June 28 AMEnjoy a guided walking tour of Venice. Begin your visit to Venice at the Piazzale Roma. Walking along the Grand Canal to San Marco Piazza, you will be impressed by the many historic and stately Venetian Palaces. Upon leaving San Marco visit

the Merceria with its many unique shops, to the graceful Rialto Bridge, designed to let 16th century galleys pass underneath.

PM The rest of the day is free for individual sightseeing or last-minute souvenir shopping.
