What is Digital Access?• Digital Access is something that everyone is

aware of nowadays

• Most people take part in digital activity as digital citizens

• There are so many social networks which people have signed up for to keep in contact with others

Electronic Mail Access• Email is currently nowadays used to

communicate and keep in touch with others around the world

• Most people are users of hotmail

• Not only hotmail, but there are other websites which people make use of

• They are very easy to sign up for!

BE SAFE!• As digital citizens, we all need to be

aware of incidents that happen

• A lot of accounts are hacked which is why you always need to make sure your password is something very personal

• The password you put in should be something you should know of, and NEVER share it with anyone

To stay on the safe side..• Make sure you answer the personal

questions they ask you every time you sign up for something online

• This way, you will have a back up of how to access your emails if in any case you forget your password somehow

Being Digitally Active in Social Networks Online..

Ever Realized How Bad These Websites Are?

• It is like a drug, it may be your next addiction..Keep it to a limit!

Why are they so bad?Some negative impacts..

• Some of these networks try to make a profit out of you. You shouldn’t trust them at all and NEVER give out any personal information. For example, Facebook has groups which try to profit money

• According to the summer 2006 issue of National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE), 34.6 percent of employers use search engines and 11.5 percent use social networking sites to look up potential employees.

• NEVER accept random friend requests, as a lot of them nowadays are stalkers and may be frauds

• Stay on the safe side and only add people you know! This will keep you out of danger

• A lot of personal information is also something you should be aware of, how much you display on your profile

Make your digital access useful..

• There are many people nowadays that don’t even have access to the internet, you should consider yourself lucky!

• Use it for research, and other things that shall benefit you for your academics

• Too much of involving yourself in social networks could become a problem, as many conflicts are occurring between teenagers
