PARISH PROTOCOLS 1. Based on guidance from the CDC, masks are no longer required for vaccinated people in the State of Massachusetts. The State does advise non-vaccinated people to continue to wear masks. Some people will continue to wear masks, including some who have been vaccinated. Let us all respect the choices that people make. 2. People who are fully vaccinated do not have to socially distance when they come to church. 3. Parish staff and volunteers will not be monitoring anyone or asking people whether they've been vaccinated, but we ask people to monitor themselves and make their own decisions about masks and social distancing. 4. If you see someone wearing a mask in church, please assume that he or she wishes to socially distance and give them appropriate space. 5. Some pews will be blocked off to allow for social distancing. Please do not remove ribbons blocking pews. 6. Priests and Eucharistic ministers will wear masks when they distribute Holy Communion. Parishioners are asked to receive Communion in the hand. Those who wish to receive Communion on the tongue, please come to the priest at the end of the line. 7. The congregation can resume singing. 8. Offertory collections will resume, and ushers and/or greeters will bring the collection baskets from pew to pew. Ushers and/or greeters will wear masks when taking up the collection. 9. Registering in advance to attend Mass is no longer necessary. 10. The dispensation from the obligation to attend Mass was lifted on June 20th. However, if you are not feeling well, please stay at home.
The 10:00 Sunday Mass will continue to be livestreamed from the Parish website at www.medfordcollaborative.org
