HOW TO CHANGE THE BULB OF AN
ELMO-HP L355 DELUXE OVERHEAD PROJECTOR

STEP 1
Have you read the instruction manual?
Make sure that you have the correct bulb for your overhead projector.

STEP 2
Do you need a screwdriver?
Are there any cautionary instructions on the machine?
STEP 3
Unplug the power cord from the wall unit.
STEP 4
Make sure that the power is in the “Off” position.
STEP 5
Where is the burnt-out bulb located inside the overhead projector?
STEP 6
With the screwdriver, remove the screws from the cover.
STEP 7
Locate the burnt-out bulb. Are there two bulbs? If so, you may just
be able to slide the new bulb into position?
NOT HERE
STEP 8
Find the metal bar on the right side of the bulb.
Press down gently.
STEP 9
Remove the bulb noting the direction of the prongs in the back of the bulb.
STEP 10
While trying not to touch the new bulb as much as possible, gently slide it into position keeping in mind the direction of the prongs on the back of the bulb.
STEP 11
Is it directly behind the metal plate with the circular opening?
STEP 12
Is the metal bar back in its proper position?
STEP 13
Replace the cover.
STEP 14
Replace the screws verifying that they tighten correctly.
STEP 15
Plug the power cord back into the wall unit.
STEP 16
Turn the power switch back into the “On” position.
VOILA!
YOU HAVE JUST REPLACED THE BULB IN YOUR OVERHEAD PROJECTOR
