DISSOLVED AIR FLOTATION – RSP-8S
The Ideal DAFTM Dissolved Air Flotation system removes suspended solids, fats, oils and greases, and other insoluble materials. The Ideal DAFTM achieves high rate removal efficiencies at a low operational cost by employing such proprietary techniques as: Progressive Water Extraction, Cross-Flow, Dissolved Air Generator (Ideal DAG™), Lamella Plate Pack Design, Cone Bottom Sludge Removal and proficient Hydraulic design.
Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) is the process whereby micro-air-bubbles cause suspended materials to float to the surface of a vessel to achieve liquid/solids separation. The water to be treated enters the vessel into a proprietary influent system, which reduces velocity and distributes the water across the length of the system. In order to optimize treatment, the influent system is designed with multiple points in which to inject “whitewater” and (where applicable) flocculant. Whitewater is a highly saturated pressurized stream of air and DAF effluent that is generated through a proprietary highly efficient and robust DAG™ system. The wastewater then enters the vessel and the microbubbles, which have attached to the particle surface affect the particle density, cause the suspended solids to float to the surface where a chain and flight skim them from the surface into a top cone. The “clean” liquid is continuously removed at several points inside the vessel and passes over pipe weirs into an effluent box. From the effluent box, the wastewater gravity feeds out of the system.
FEATURES
* Polypropylene Frame Construction - Provides superior qualities compared to stainless steel such as: lighter weight, higher chemical resistance (corrosion resistance), longer life span, less expensive (materials costs) and lower maintenance.
* Lamella Plates - are used to increase surface area and improve performance. * Progressive Water Extraction – The process of extracting the clean water from the system
as the influent travels through the system. Providing additional time for the concentrated slurry to separate.
* Dissolved Air – The DAG™ is used for generating 5-12 micron bubbles at very high saturation efficiencies.
* Cross Flow – The vessel design is such that the influent water is spread across the length of the vessel to reduce the velocity of the water to optimize separation efficiencies.
* Cone Bottom Sludge Removal – A safe, low maintenance method for efficient removal of any settled particles.

Generation 5 Delta Blower DescriptionThe new Generation 5 Delta Blower provides an array of new technical innovations. Theadvantages for our customers are:· Machinery noise level has been lowered by 6 to 8 dBA compared to previous Delta Blowers· Units equipped with a sound enclosure can now be installed side-by-side to reduce space· Removable panels allow easy access for maintenance from the front of the enclosure· The oil level can be observed from the outside of the enclosure· There is only one oil level fill and drain point
One Aerzen G5 Delta Blower consists of the following components, which are completelyassembled in our factory prior to shipment.· Aerzen Rotary Three Lobe Blower.· Base frame with integrated reactive-type (no absorption packing materials) discharge silencer, installed on vibration isolating mounts.· Hinged motor support plate provides automatic consistent belt tension· Intake filter/silencer with filter maintenance indicator.· Narrow V-belt drive with OSHA guard, ventilated sheaves and bushings are dynamically balanced to ISO 1940.· Spring loaded safety pressure relief valve sized for full flow.· Discharge manifold with integral full bore check valve.· Discharge flexible connector with heavy-duty clamps sized for schedule 40 pipe· Instrumentation includes a filter maintenance indicator (2.5”) and discharge pressure gauge (2.5”).· First Fill of Oil.
In addition:1. Each blower stage is factory tested at under load to verify the volumetric flow and power. The acceptance criterion is +/- 5% for all machine sizes.
2. Standard documentation includes a general arrangement drawing, job specific data sheets, and instruction manuals for both the blower and electric motor. Documentation will be provided in electronic format and up to five (5) hard copies.
3. Standard paint is an alkyd resin, RAL 5001 (blue).
4. Packaging for shipment by domestic truck is included.
