MARRIOTT’S WAY
MAP OF MILE MARKERS
Marriott’s Way is a 26 mile long foot-, cycle-, and bridle-path which uses the road beds
of what were originally two rival railway routes. It has two sets of markers, one designed
by Les Bicknell with Keith Rackham, commissioned in 2000 by Norfolk CC, Norwich CCand Sustrans with three larger markers, eight interlocking inscribed concrete blocks
(shown on the final page) and a number of seats all with inscriptions relevant to their
siting.
