Moreover those students who leave (other than class 10) and join other local schools should also be controlled. For this: i. Feedback from the students of class 10 should be taken on regular intervals and recorded on paper ii. Interact with parents of class 10 to find out their intention after their children pass class 10 and counsel accordingly iii. Most of the parents are very satisfied but there are some parents who are spoiling the environment and image of the school. Those few parents should be identified and their issues or reasons for dissatisfaction should be found out and solved immediately (if the problem is genuine) or provide TC if the problems are intentionally

Local market target students: Students who go to study at Merryland College, DAV, EuroKids, Araniko, etc Students studying in good Montessori like Kidzee, Ravishankar, Mothers pride, etc

Strategy for increasing number of students next year:

1. Retain Current Students: There is no point in targeting new students if we are not able to retain the current passouts of class 10. Moreover those students who leave (other than class 10) and join other local schools should also be controlled. For this:i. Feedback from the students of class 10 should be taken on regular intervals and recorded on paperii. Interact with parents of class 10 to find out their intention after their children pass class 10 and counsel accordinglyiii. Most of the parents are very satisfied but there are some parents who are spoiling the environment and image of the school. Those few parents should be identified and their issues or reasons for dissatisfaction should be found out and solved immediately (if the problem is genuine) or provide TC if the problems are intentionally created (i.e. if their justifications are unreasonable)

2. Use Sports Teacher: Interviews of national level coaches in sports magazine and newspapers in favour of DPS Brt Organize more and more inter school competition in school so that more and more persons can see our infrastructure (word of mouth advt) Whenever there is any competition in Saheed Rangashala, make arrangements for school visits (through sports coach) Incentive per student by using them in campaigning

3. Use existing staff (both academic and non academic): Provide them incentive per student4. Target Different Montessori schools for students in primary level: Visit all Montessori schools in Purwanchal and provide souvenir or offer incentive per student (if possible) Place small hoarding outside all Montessori school, if possible

5. Use of Hoarding Boards: Place large permanent hoardings at all the tourist places such as Ilam, Bhedetar, Janakpur, Ilam, Pokhara, Kankalini Mandir(lakhs of people visit per year, esp. during Dashain) Place large permanent hoardings at all the emerging or potential markets as mentioned above Small hoarding boards near all major hospitals and temples (may focus all target market area)

6. Powerpoint presentation(esp for +2): As soon as the Dashain vacation is over, one team with laptop and projector should visit all the schools of Purwanchal which have only upto class 10. The school should be provided with some sort of gifts so that they show interest in what we want to do(moral obligation). The presentation should be imparted about the school and videos about the school also have to be shown. The principal, The teachers and all the students should be invited to visit the school premises. Student counseling should be done in school when they visit

7. One local contact/Information center in all the target market (as stated above): An academic organization like consultancy or institute should be tied up with and developed as a local contact/information center. All the information including registration forms, brochures, fee structures, etc should be available in that center. Incentive should be given on per student admission basis so that there is direct motivation and also no additional cost (except initial hoarding board cost) per month will be incurred as a burden.

8. Manipulate annual function: Ask class teachers (from class 1 to 8) to collect data of relatives of existing students (by filling standardized form containing name, relation, occupation, address and contact number) and send invitation(only to those who can afford, data elicited from filled form) for annual function so that they come and visit our school and see what we have Invite all Montessori owners (relationship development) Invite all influential teachers and school principals whose schools are upto SLC (will help for +2 admission) Invite all bank managers, Round table members, Lions club and Rotary club members, and the like Invite all Doctors, Engineers, CAs, and Lawyers of Purwanchal Invite all wholesalers and agency holders and businessman

9. The Effective Campaigning: 6 groups should be made with 3-4 members in each group with a team leader who can assume responsibility. 3 places for each group(total 6X3=18 places as stated above) should be provided according to their language and acquaintances of the place. Team remuneration should be declared per student enrolment so that team members will be less(which will save our campaigning cost) and efficiency will be more (motivation through performance based work). Moreover the team will plan at their own and work without external pressure and follow up There will be one information and reporting or control center whose responsibility will be to coordinate for transportation and make/design and/or provide the required things such as flex, banner, printing materials(fee structure, etc), brochures, nails, hammers, etc and control the misuse. The control center will also be responsible for paper advertising, radio advertising and TV advertising at different places where campaigning is supposed to be done All the team are required to report their work so that any team does not remain idle or just campaign for change (free tour). Problems confronted will also have to be reported at the reporting center so that required changes can be made in the planned campaign. One week prior advertisement should be given at every places where the campaigning team is supposed to visit Local students should be used for regional advertisement in newspaper Local parents feedback should be used for regional visual TV advertisement

10. Use of Social Networking and social apps: Facebook page should be popularized by uploading pictures/photos of students involved in different events, achievements, montessori activities so that students (or parents of Montessori students) will tag each others photos and more and more people can know about our school students creativity. Moreover advertisements can also be uploaded during admissions. The same thing as stated above can be forwarded through whatsapp

Proposals as per the problems confronted during marketing campaign: Many parents want to enrol their children in our school who can easily afford school fees but cannot afford hostel fees due to which they cant enrol their children. Therefore hostel fees ought to be reduced so that both school and hostel students will increase 2 beds, 4 beds and 6 beds accommodation should be provided and fee should be charged in similar manner i.e. 2 beds high fee and 6 beds low fee Some parents cant afford a lump sum admission fee of nearly 0.5 lakh but can easily afford tuition fees of our school and therefore cant afford to enrol in our school. Therefore admission fee should be reduced and tuition fee can be increased to compensate the loss of admission fees.

The LAST PROPOSAL:8am to 8pm day boarding can be introduced by charging an additional amount per month. The benefits will be bilateral i.e. both to school and students. The features of the day boarding: Compulsory lunch, snacks and dinner Students can opt for prescribed games & sports, arts, or music and dance which will be imparted by expert trainers (2 hours daily training) 2 hours compulsory coaching of the subject in which the students are poor at studies. Health check-ups at regular intervals Personality development training Communication enhancement training Benefits to the school: Positive image and branding of school Extra earning by charging extra money per month from the students Maximum utilization of canteen resources i.e. losses from the canteen can be compensated More medals and achievements as day boarders can practice and get trained in the games they are good at ECA trainer will be utilized to the fullest extent Better performance at annual function as students can be prepared round the year Admissions may increase if it is a success Benefits to Students/Parents Students time will be utilized in improving skill or productive work Money which is spend on private coaching (home tuitions) will be saved Students can improve their academic part Emphasis will be given for interschool or international competition Improved English Language communication
