Association Internationale des Étudiants en Sciences Économiques et Commerciales (AIESEC) is a global, youth-

run organization present in 111 countries and territories with over 50,000 members in 1,700 universities, giving

opportunities for almost 10,000 leadership experiences and generating over 12,000 exchanges per year. AIESEC

envisions creating a positive impact in society through taking action in solving relevant social issues in the world

today.

In the Philippines, AIESEC has produced formidable leaders and has implemented impactful projects since 1968.

Currently, its membership prides itself in representing the most prestigious institutions of higher education in the

country such as Ateneo de Manila University, University of the Philippines, University of Santo Tomas, De La

Salle University, and Ateneo de Davao University, among others. AIESEC in Davao has been one of the premier

Local Committees in the Philippines that was established in 1969 in Ateneo de Davao and now decided to expand

to a city-based entity aiming to introduce the AIESEC Experience to the different young people in colleges and

universities in Davao.

Every year, AIESEC DAVAO conducts a city-wide recruitment to give opportunities for AIESEC aspirants who

desire to share and enhance their leadership potentials. After evaluating the applicants’ capacity and their status as

an AIESECer, the Local Committee of Davao organizes an adaptation camp to give further details about what the

organization does and how it works. This year’s concept is called 9camp, a two-day seminar organized to represent

the 9 departments of AIESEC and its corresponding roles. In this camp, participants will go through series of

activities that will enable them to grasp the real concept behind each department and how it is managed. The event

will be open not only for newly inducted AIESECers but for the old members as well as interested individuals

regardless if they have taken the stages of application or not. The camp’s primary goal is for the participants to

gather, share, have fun and learn about AIESEC in the most astounding way as possible. 9camp will be on

February 18 and 19, 2012 at Jones Beach Resort, Salakot Drive, Talomo, Davao City.

We are looking for partners to help us offset the cost of this event. Associates will be engaged in all our publicities

to gain exposure while helping a worthy cause.
