• We received a grant award for $5000 for the purpose of forging a partnership between the public library and Calvert County Public Schools.

The kickoff event was held in January at our local public library.
• Dr. Grasmick attended and spoke.• Dr. Smith, our superintendent, spoke.• Several county commissioners and
members of our Board of Education attended.

Videos
• Contracted with Career Puppy, a local business, to create an overview video for our school.
• Have since created a second video which featured three programs – CAD, Oracle, and Cisco.
• Will be making a third video this year marketing our PLTW programs.
Counselors
• Communicating with high school and middle school counselors about our programs is very important.
• Each year, we bring the counselors from our six middle schools and four high schools to the CTA for ½ day tour and conversation.
