Market research analysis
To conduct some market research into the music genre I created a questionnaire. This questionnaire looked at what types of people watch music videos and watch they find attractive about them. I handed my questionnaire out to 10 people and have analysed the results;

From this question I found that the majority of people watch music videos compared to people who don’t. Out of the people I asked 8 people said that they watch music videos whereas only 2 said that they didn’t. From this I learned that there is a large audience of people who watch music videos therefore I will have to aim my music video at all types of people.

character/characters that are in the video play an important role in whether someone will watch the video. One person however answered the other option and wrote that the storyline like of the video will make them watch. As a result I am going to make sure that the storyline to my video is understandable.

From conducting this research I have found that my target audience will be mainly females of the age 17-24. To target this audience I will therefore focus the storyline of my video around something that females like such as love. This will also allow males to relate to it as well.
